Sounds like your leaf might be dragging on one of the switches.

The one time I've heard of this was when someone adjusted their leaf so that it went *way* to far in.

Adjust your toe screw out, a LOT, and see if that fixes it.

Mine also did this, VERY fun to mess around with and VERY fast, Heres what I did to enable/disable it:

When adjusting my trigger for the first time (MT, and magno mod, not sure if this is a factor) I left the vernier screws (that tighten the wheels down) loose so I could adjust the pull after taking a few shots. I found that when I left my trigger pull long (which is fastest for me with the mango mod) it was shooting with pull and release.

I shortened it and it stopped, but started up again with paint every once in a while. But, I forgot to tighten down the vernier screws. So now if I leave those screws loose, and have a fairly long trigger pull, it shoots on pull and release every time. My hypothisis is that the pull is so long, that it is reading the leaf spring again as it comes back the other way. But what I dont understand, is that it only does it when those screws are loose. I can have long pull, but if the screws are tight it wont do it.

Im curious if other flys will do this.
Everyone should loosen there vernier wheel screws, make the trigger pull about as long as you can get it, and run some paint and/or air through it and see if it happens. Fun to do when people shoot off the rest of their paint to see who can go faster. Loosen those screws and blow their minds.

Since the marker fires when light passes through hole on the opto switch... each time light hits the receptacle then it registers and activates the marker. If your travel is so long that you not only allow light to pass through the hole, but you push the entire hole past the light beam, then on the release the hole would once (as it returns) again allow light to activate the marker, as it travels to its rest position. Just my two bits.

makes plenty of sense

i tried everything with the vernier wheels with no luck...how should switch activation be set?

Adjust your toe screw out *all the way*, so that it doesn't fire at all. Then turn it in 'til it does....

The best way is to take the grips off so you can see what's actually happening with the toe screw as it relates to the leaf spring. It also gives you a better idea of how it operates.

it is in mode 1 right?

Your problem should lay with the opto spring position. There are two areas of the spring that will activate the trigger, the narrow tip and center void (opening). If you are breaking the beam at the opto tip, then there is a good chance it will fire on a pull and release. Check and see if your opto spring is sticking almost all the way out.

If you have the MT Magnet Mod, then why do you still have Vernier Wheels?

It sounds like your trigger pull is so long that the sensor is tripped with the opening, like it should be, and again on the release with either the opening again or the end of the leaf spring.

Try making your trigger pull a little shorter and set your TOE activation point somewhere between the beginning and mid range point in the pull. Also check to make sure you're in mode 1 and using a low TR setting if you have version 3.5 software or newer.

If all else fails, give one of the MTs a call and they'll set you right.

Accually I just have one of the vernier wheels. The first one, is a solid disk that just has the magnet. The wheel I still have, is the one towards the back of the gun.

Always on mode 1, I can have it on Tr one and still get the extra shot. This past weekend I played, and even if my screws were tight, it was shooting extra, so i just shortened the pull and the screws were "firm", but not tight, and it was fine. I accually liked the pull being a little shorter too, so ill stick with that.
