With the new debue of the G7 and the muched hyped upgraded softwere i have a question for the MTs or anybody else who will be able to answer for that matter...

"The software used in this marker will be significantly faster than even the pro-Only 3.7 (current Flys use AF 3.5)" (straight from dales sight from ariticle on G7)

the fly board softwere that has been put in the guns being sold by the factory has been AF 3.5 what is the "pro-only" software that you guys have been giving to our much beloved pros, what is the diffrence from their software to ours

I play at the field that many of arsenals players from time to time play at (Outdoor Adventures), i basicily live at the store that many of them worked at (BC Paintball) and i have heard rummors from ppl who know them and play with them that their boards are programed for the first 5-10 sec (depending on the person telling me the rummor) of the game timer to max our the hopper shooting full auto.

is there even a shread of truth in these rummors or is it just men wanting to try and bring down their team

so again what is the diffrence between the 3.5 software you guys sell in guns and the pro-only 3.7

thanks

the 3.7 is faster/better/better/ and better. Thats all i know, i dont know the details on it, just that it is better.

if its 15% faster, chances are that they lowered the eye delay/ball in place delay setting even lower( hence why sponsored teams only, they dotn want the public complaining that they are chopping cause their settings are too low for their hoppers, so its like having a Superduperfast hopper setting.

the rest of it is how the eyes turn on and off, like 3.6, it vibes instead of fires a shot.

I highly doubt WDP will produce a cheater baord fro their team guns, since they play NPPL and would be caught by a bot.

or maybe they were piloting teh g7 software in pro only guns....

maybe they were testing teh delay time( previously stated) so that when the g7 comes out it wil be perfected

very good deduction crashdan. I am thinking that they used the 3.7 in pros so that they could see how they could improve their software for their new gun. They would be abe to see how the 3.7 stood up to a pro's use. So that 3.8 could be godly!!

I think i heard that they gave all the pros 3.7 just to test it out.....

Smasher41 is exactly right with the delay, also with how the eyes turn on and off, and they actually have like 20 different software versions ranging from how had the vibe hits and stuff like that. The softwares have many different things that vary from each on that it is just crazy. I know this because of the wdp tech class that they just had in San Diego but the settings are made more friendly for tournament players where normal players might find it in the way and just a pain.

The 3.8 version is being used by their teams now. The software version for the G7 is better. I've tried the 3.8 and I really don't see any difference from the 3.5 other than better voltage effeciency.

I dunno WDP is a major sponsor of NPPL, i they decided to make a hideable ramping gun, would NPPL say no angels? i highly doubt it

wdp makes it publically known that they do not condone software that cheats... i forget what team they made this clear pubically with... but that doesnt stop a hacker putting a patch on it themselves....

All, the team version does is allow them to turn the eyes off and then back on by holding the trigger. The idea that if they did chop paint and the eyes did get blocked they could turn them off by holding the trigger shoot some paint to clean off the eyes, then turn the eyes on again by holing the trigger, JR thought that this would get the general public in trouble and he said sometimes even the teams get confused with it!
