This weekend at the nppl my eyes were working fine the first game but in the second game i got bunkered really close and one ball happened to take a direct hit (acually there were like 3 of them) to the eye covers. the eyes themselves were still clean but after that my eyes didnt work at all, not on the ball test or anything. should i take apart the eye covers and stuff (i have a retro'd 4 so its not exactly a fly) or what? im pretty sure that the balls must have somehow damaged the ribbon because there is still a little bit of paint under the eye covers but i dont want to take it apart in case that will mess anything up more. any advice would help alot.
btw, if the eyes did break, is it gunna cost like $300 to fix?

Before taking them apart since you're nervous about doing so, spray some compressed air in a can (keyboard cleaner) on them and see if that does the trick.

well try getting a spray bottle with water and just squirting MAD water in the breech. then take the bolt out, and shoot the water out. its the best way to clean the eyes. this was suggested to me by ken, so its not harmful.
