Angel questions

Hi guys I have been out of paintball for like 5 years and I have a first gen Angel that has been sitting idle in my closet for those 5 years and I know it needs some work. When i quit playing my PCB was bad and i had to use my Full Auto PCB. I am assuming the gun will need rebuilt with all new seals and etc so i have a few questions.

1. What PCB should I get for the gun
2. Do you think it should be rebuilt totally?
3. Whats the best hopper for this gun these days?
4. Im sure regs have improved since 5 years ago whats the best to use?
5. What mods can be done to the gun to make it perform the best?

Money isnt a option but im not interested in things to make it pretty just make it function the best.

Or do i just scrap it and buy a new gun?

I can't answer all your questions, but I would definitely say keep the marker! Until I purchased my Angel 4, I used my '98 LE exclusevly for 6 years. All original parts, with the exception of a lady trigger. It still chronos +/- 3 bps and it has never been rebuilt! Gas it up and see how consistent it is. That will tell you if it needs a rebuild or not.

I would not get rid of the led unless you see something else that catches your eye. I still shoot my first angel I have ever owned my '99 led. I have owned about 14 other angels, and none can compare....my speed was nice my a4 was nice and my fly was nice...but they cant match the consistency and dependability of the led.

1. What do you mean by PCB? (Board?)
2. I agree with Smith just gas it up and shoot a little with it and see how it acts, if there are leaks or anything then you might want to get it tuned up.
3.I use halo B's on all of my angels. Its the fastest hopper right now, and will keep with just about any gun.
4. Yeah there are some really nice regs out on the market, however if your reg on your gun works fine and doesnt leak or anything...then why change it? Even if it does leak all it would need is a rebuild kit which is just some o-rings and lube it up.
5. As for upgrades and stuff, most of the stuff you see on the market are for cosmetics....however I recommend a nice barrel or barrel kit would be best, a nice feedneck that holds your hopper on nicely, and if you really want to get serious you can get some eyes. There is a thread farther down on this board that I made that has all board and eye options for the led....Unfortunatley the Chaos/ACE mod might not be available any more.
