Hey guys, i was wondering why do i chop with my reloader b but not with my victory board? It chops about one of every 5 balls with my reloader but none with my halo? What can i do to help out my problem?

Check your Detents.

check the paint, make sure it's not too brittle.

Checked detents, not bad.

The paint is diablo blaze which is definitly not brittle.

I put the reloader on the slowest setting. Still the same problem.

well its gotta be the loader... use common sense, the gun works fine with one loader and then it chops with another....

What can i do though is the question.

Is there any paint inside the loader?

I've suddenly been encountering the same problem on my Fly with one of the Reloader Bs that I just purchased. At first I thought it was the paint as well, until I started breaking paint in the feed tube. It's about the torque setting on the loader, with fresh batteries I found that I'd be breaking paint on short bursts.

easier tiger... before you start to panic, one person's problems does not immediately translate to everyone's problems. There are several steps outlined in this thread that fix any potential problems, try those if you experience problems.

one person having the problem wouldnt bother me, but 2 begins to worry me. Can anyone assure me that my reloader b will probably be fine?

anythings possible, so it will probably be fine

The three 7-man team of all Angels w/Reloader Bs that were at the field today that were all streaming paint with problems would tell me that 21 people aren't having problems.

No problems w/ReLoaderBs on my Fly or my daughter's Speed.... None!

I have same problem too with my brand new reloader b. But somehow, with my new riotfeed, I did not chop - used the same batch of paint - Diablo Formula 13. Before using riotfeed, I strectched my detents so don't know which one fixed it.

You guys just need to shoot faster :) just kidding. Seriously, the reloader with fresh batteries is the fastest loader I've used. It does put a lot more pressure on the ball stack. We ran a test a couple weeks ago with a couple of fly's, a reloader, a HALO B, and a HALO w/victory. The reloader and the victory were set to maximum speed. The reloader consistently shot faster than the victory, and a lot faster than the HALO B with Z code. After ripping a string, we opened the breech and examined the next ball in line. Let's just say it wasn't perfectly round. The reloader with fresh batteries was malforming the last ball just a little, which equates to a busted next shot with not so great paint. With good paint (chronic) the problem didn't appear, but tork, and pmi premium both "crushed under pressure". The key word here is consistency. The reloader spins at the same speed during rapid fire, whereas the HALO B, and the victory are very sporadic. If you're a back guy, and rip hopper loads at a time, then the reloader on fastest setting is the best!

compare a reloader with a riotfeed and theres no comparions with speed and consistancy

Trickytrix... you hit the nail on the head, the problem lies within the loader and not really the marker. I've seen some people set their Reloader B to the middle setting on fresh batteries for the first 4 cases, then raise to the fastest setting for 4 more cases before junking the batteries. I've yet to try it but it's common sense why they're doing this.

I dont think i can get fresher batteries than my energizer e2 platinums that are brand new.... :owned:

Then that's probably your problem. Also, make sure your ram is set correctly. My fly was set properly when I got it, but after a day of play the ram backed out a little, and I had some chopping problems. Reset the RAM with a tad bit of loctite, and I haven't chopped with the reloader since

I dont understand how if i use the e2s in my halo it works. What would make the reloader different. Same batteries, same motor (im guessing)

Ill try that though.

The reloader has different programming, and keep in mind since its vibration activated that its going to have a much quicker reaction time than the standard HALO which in turns means more force on the ball stack
