You should hear a "click" when you close your breech. That click is the bolt pin hitting the back of the hammer. If you hear that you know your ram is properly adjusted.

Are you talking about the LCD message that comes up on the board?
If so, the H in hear is supposed to be a W for wear. It is a message just to have to check and make sure the bolt is not wearing down too much.
Limits of the LCD screen cause this misreading quite often.
