And... now my eyes dont work...

So i chaged the frame on my fly today to my new TAG .45 frame. put everything in and was EXTRA careful putting in the eye ribbon cable. Turned the gun on, and the eyes dont work. If you wiggle the cable around in the slot it will say pass once and stay as pass unless you reset it. So i dont know what to do, buy new eyes or send it in for warentee for the board, because the eyes are in IMPECABLE condition. Regardless i think im going to send it up to badlands.

Anyone have any suggestions?

take a good look at that socket and they eye ribbon part that connects. it's possible you bumped the plug and thats giving you the problem. i have heard of peoples eyes failing when the plug gets bumped or banged.

i am also curious, how do own an 05 fly?

the 05 fly was a typo, i have an 04 limited edition red dust fly. and yes it is LE because it has unmilled eyes,super sexy.

Corrupt, i had already checked all of that. I have fixed three or four flys that had that problem.

Mitch, the gun is going up to the shop tonight (friday). Chris is going to look at it for me, i think he might be switching out the board because my backlight doesnt work either for some reason. So im confident that it will be ripping faces off when i get it back, hoping you guys can bend the leaf right to get it to ramp with my .45 frame. *hint hint*

it is possible u kinked/cracked the eye ribbon... happened to a teammate of mine who was doing a trigger job and it kinked the ribbon

all fixed folks, I was ablet o get it goin like a bat outta hell, eyes work fine now and the 45 grip is pimp can't wait to see it when it get's back form teh annodizing
