--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I own a 2001 Angel LCD. I am having alittle problem. When I switch it to 'live', I can shoot it for about 15 seconds. Then it automatically switches to safe. If I try to turn it back to live right when I let go of the button it goes to safe. If I turn it off for awhile I can turn it back on and then turn it on live for 15 seconds. Then it goes right back to safe. When I scroll through the LCD I noticed that the temperature read out is not working and it reads 'code-4'. I really hope someone can give me some help with this. Thanks
Mike

code 4 is one of the temp faults. Your board has either gone bad or it needs to return to a normal temp reading. If it's recently been exposed to extreme temps you simply need to let it return to room temp. If it hasn't then you need to send to an authorized tech/service center for a board replacement/swap. Seeing as you're in FL give Mo's Paintball a shot www.mospaintball.com Best of luck to you.

if the temp isn't working then you will have to take it to a tech, there isn't really anything you can do

YAY! I let it charge hoping it might help. It had been doing it for a few days so i don't think it had to do with extreme temps. Now it reads 118 but no fault. hopefully it will return to normal temp. Im so happy!

yep time for a new board. Your board is getting too hot. Take it or send it to Mo's.

May be you need a circ fan? JK. I had that prob, and shortly there after the board fried. Turned out something kept shorting out on some wire with a stripped jacket.

Well, I talked to the place I purchased it from and they gave me www.angelparts.com. I e-mailed them some questions and I got speedy responses. I sent the gun out today for a board swap ( and while its out there a tune-up =). I'm pretty happy and I can't wait until it comes back!
