well, i do know that they have some significant problems with flash filling (watch out if you intend to use those kalibur POS). they are fairly heavy, and sometimes come out of calibration which can lead to utter confusion. the o-rings on it are some funky size between -010 and -011 so you have to buy a seal kit if it gives way. you also have to buy special tools to fix them (or make your own, if you know how).
overall i recommend other reg's above the angel air, personally the conquest. if your not using a mini-reg a dynaflow is also a good alternative.
but if your stuck on the angel air, the output is ajusted through the allen or knob at the front of the reg. there are 3 menu's that tell you your output and tank pressure, along with a shots left function that i doubt many people use. the threads are standard tank threads so you dont have to use an angel air bottle on the reg. the mounting screw is 5mm, and the 4 screws that hold the two main pieces together are 4mm. you can use a regular ram ajustment tool to get into the front section. shims on the AIR are similar to the mini-reg in that they control the pressure range, you can have them configured for either a LP or HP operation (but dont do it yourself unless you know what you are doing).
that's not everything i know about them, but it should suffice.

many people are using conquests, which i recommend for an ajustable...if you choose to go the preset route then go with crossfire

well ill have to disagree with mamba juice & Trance on this one , i think that A.I.R is a wonderful adjustable tank. i have only had one problem with my A.I.R thus far, i had a small slow leak that i took to a shop and they fixed the leak in about 2 minutes and cost me about $1.67 with tax to fix that was includeing service & o-ring. (i took it to someone to fix because i knew nothing about A.I.R at the time). the only downside i have seen with my A.I.R is its weight, i have a 68 ci but its not all that heavy if you get a 45 ci you should have no problems with the weight. but i agree with mamba on this one if you get a preset i would get a crossfire.
hope i have been helpful.

I have had nothing but good performance out of my units. I have two of them and run them straight into my guns (gutted mini-reg). Never have I had a hot gun penalty or shootdown (one of the factors is a consistent flow from your air source). Yes, they are a tad on the heavy side. The LCD readout is gimmicky to some but I like it. You can operate it without the display, so if your batteries run out it doesn't matter. The only downside is price really, but if you can find a used unit and rebuild it or have a MT rebuild it for you then you'll most likely get years of great use out of it.

The angel air tank is easy to adjust if you know how. Don't listen to the others.I played this weekend and had no problems with it. it's not heavy at all. Unscrew adjustment screw when filling and srew in until desired output psi is reached.
