The only way to adjust pressure in the LCD lpr is by adding/removing shims. The only way you can check the operating pressure of the lpr is by using the gauge in the Angel Tool Kit. To make the LCD run at low pressure it takes more than just adjusting the lpr. It wasn't designed to be run on low pressure. The max-flo is adjustable, so just set 'er up for a higher input pressure.

How would i do that with the maxflow?

Are you talking about a horizontal mount maxflow reg? Or do you mean the vert. mount? Or a maxflow tank?

Horizontal maxflow

You need to get the high pressure spring for the max-flo and install that. You can adjust output pressure by turning the spring cap and then locking it down w/ the locking screw.

Where can i buy that and for how much? And would it be an easy installation?

Check smartparts.com or do a google on "max-flo parts" to see what dealers come up. It's a simple install. Just take off the spring cap, take out the one that's in there and put in the new one. You can also download the max-flo manual at smart parts' site. Do you know for a fact that the one you're getting is set up for low pressure?

No..your LCD will not wirk at 300 PSI. No matter what tank you have.

Indeed...you need I believe a constant 500psi at least going into the gun, seing as how you dont have a mini reg, set your outpout pressure to around 550psi. At least those are the pressures for the IR3, anyone got an LCD manuel handy?

I think that is what i would need but is that the conversion for the horizontal maxflow right??.....

The conversion will work on vertical and horizontal alike. It's the same reg in a different configuration. You'll need about 650 psi to get good consistency w/ out drop off. Again, you'll need the angel tool kit if you want to see what your lpr is sending to the marker, should be around 85.
