One again, leave it to Ken for helping someone out!! He has been helping me fix my chopping prob with the Flied Speed. In doing so.....he explained to me how to make a mini-reg gauge.
Need three parts...
1. Gauge--preferably a smaller incrimental one. Mine- a Dye 0-750.
2. A screw in adapter for a CA line. (that's right, for those of us who wore our bottles on the back)
3. Optional.....some Teflon tape.
How to.....put the tape on the gauge and then the gauge into the adapter......
Thanks alot Ken!!!! As always, a professional!! :fanboy:

All done...just check the pressure at the mini-reg!!

lol, why didnt you just buy a good reg? i switched to the ans x-2 reg, and wow. huge difference. but there are better regs out there then the x2, i have had good luck with them in the past so i decided to stick with em..get a stabalizer tho if u want a reg at some point

The question is not in getting a "good reg". The question is setting the LPR properly!!
This way...u can...
I have heard about those others...but I like the stock...for now LOL!

ok so you just buy the gauge then attach it to the reg and put the reg back on the gun.....
come on now it cant be that easy.
and does it fit right back onto the gun or do you have to put it on in a different way?

You have to take your minireg off to fit the gauge on it. After you have tuned the pressure, you can then screw the minireg to your gun and be sure of what pressure you're operating at.

ohhhh so you dont put the gauge on with it when you put it back on?

No Addicted, you do not. The whole purpose of this gauge is that you are supposed to set the mini-reg first, then the LPR.
In my last picture, imagine the hose from the ASA going into the mini-reg. You then turn the cylinder on. The pressure can then be adjusted to the desired pressure. Turn the cylinder off, bleed the hose. You then take the gauge back off and put the mini-reg back onto the gun.
To quote you eariler, it is that easy!! LOL!
