Charging Problems

Somebody help, everytime I go to charge my angel, i get the 'tab in' message on the screen. The problem is the key tab or breech is knob is broken and doesnt stay closed or open. Is that my problem or is it something else?

If you have a switch turn it to the on position before trying to charge.

I do, but the gun has so little charge it just shuts off right away

you plug the gun in - then hit the gun on - it should start charging then
