View Full Version : Making LCD Low Pressure

Ok I need to know How to make my 2002 Dark LCD shoot low pressure. Is there a way? I would like to shoot around 300-400 if thats possible. Please help me by responding thanks.

There are a few folks that have done mods that let 'em run lower, but they're a bit invasive. Any particular reason that you want to run it that low?

My legs get tired of running back and forth to the fill station!!! lol
Just wanting to see if its possible without causing massive drop balls or inacuracy

Well my lcd is runing at 330 and I getting around 1300 off a 68/3000. All I have done is an aka tornado valve, bonebrake mods( moded lpr and new hammer,and bolt) Im also geting a soft face bolt soon. My dwell is 10 to I dont know why but the lower I drop my dwell the higher my fps goes up I wish my dwell went lower then 10.

Best bet is to get a bigger tank. Lower pressure doesn't mean better efficiency all the time. Sometimes you get a marker to shoot lower pressure, but then it takes twice as much air to make the marker do the same thing. Do a search for low pressure mods and see what comes up. You could look into the freeflow mod that would allow you to adjust your lpr w/ a jackhammer reg, but w/out changing the size and pattern of the air pathways inside your marker, you won't really be able to just drop the pressure.

OK....now i'm seriously confused....I thought the Angel LCD was a low pressure marker?? Ive got an Air America Apocalypse thats outputting 450psi....should i be turning this up??? :wall:

The LCD is HP. You need to be putting at least 650 into the mini-reg. The lpr should then be putting 85 psi into the marker from there. Turn it up, you'll be good to go.

Rg: people come here for help, if you don't want to help, then don't. If you want to hang yourself that's fine, too. But I have to warn you, if you leave notes like the one above then people will find you and you won't get to finish what you started. ;)
