New angel not charging

hey, i bought a new angel speed 04 and this is what happened when i tried to charge it. I turned on the car and put the plug into the cigarette lighter (which i know works) and then put the other end into the slot on the back of the angel. At first it blinked but then went away...so i tried it again and nothing.. i've been trying this with the car running on the battery and the car running with the engine. I can't seem to get it to light up. I have the on switch on so i don't know what else to do. I've opened up the trigger grip and everything on the circuit board looks attached..i even opened up the charger and everything looked attached...so im really not sure whats wrong. Thinking that there could of been something wrong with the charger i mixed stuff of a bit but i burned the spring inside :-\ which i don't really need..but could i just buy another car charger at radio shack or do i need to buy a specific one from wdp? My steps are.. turn gun off, plug into cigarette lighter, plug into gun, turn car on, turn gun on and i get no leds lighting up. help me :'( im pretty sure the gun isn't charging because it won't turn on.

see mine was kind of like that, i charged my gun with the car off for 4 hours which wouldnt charge it but i turned he car on and had it carge for about 2 minutes and it was fully charged and the battery hasnt died yet so maybe try that

forceably (sp) push the charger end into the port.some times this is all that it is.it seems hrd to go in but try it.

buy a wall adapter. (can get them at like best buy or curcuit city) same a lot of trouble and keeps it safe in your house

May want to buy one from one of the sponsors up top. They sell the only one approved by WDP. One from best buy, circuit city, or radio shack might not hurt your gun, but some have. I wouldn't risk it personally.
