View Full Version : Dwell and ROF Settings?

I recently got an Angel LCD, and I really like it. But the only problem is that whenever I really go into a long, fast burst, I seem to chop a ball or two.

I am using an Eggy 2 with the ROF turned all the way up. I was checking out the Angel, and the ROF on it is set to 16 bps. Since the Eggy is clocked at 17 bps, what could be the problem?

Should I just turn the board down to 15 bps, or would that make my rate of fire slower, with no improvement?

Also, my dwell is set at 14 (its pretty loud too). Should I change that? What are the settings people on this forum use that work?

Thanks a lot in advance...

i have never changed my dwell on my angel and it has always worked perfect. still set at the factory settings of 14. What kind of bolt are you using??? I personally like the r11 but i know there are better bolts on the market today. I dont know i never really use eggs, i dont really like them but turning your rate of fire will help it stop from chopping.

You should get a angel soft face bolt that will help alot. Also you might need to tune your ram and snap ring. Your detent might need replaced ( that happened to me). As for dwell 14 is good, You really dont need to change it from that. On the lcd's theres really no way to stop choping wit out haveing it flyed Or aced in some way.

You take the back plate off and you will see and sliver thing and with 2 holes in it and a brass screw(thats your snap ring) I take to small allen wrenchs and put them in the 2 small hole and cross them. Then you trun your ram out and then wile turning it in close Your breach till your bolt pin clicks off your hammer.

might want to raise dwell to 15/16 and maybe lower mrof to 15 if u have used batteries.
