There should be no problem with the LCD board and any sort of climate (except for maybe the antarctic).

I've had mine out in the rain, granted it was rather light, and had no problem whatsoever.

Funny cause I never had a problem and we had a scorcher week on the Cape. Who told you that they fry?

uhm....I live in FL, and at the last scenario I played in it was 96 with a heat index of 111 and I had no problems all day

you heard wrong...and unless you put it in the oven or microwave...or left it on the dashboard of a car directly in the sun for a few hours..it wasn't because of heat.
Just because when it went it was giving you the temperature sensor warning, dosn't mean that heat did it...thats the error that every fried LCD board I've ever seen has had.

and plus if you were to leave your gun in the sunlight for hours till the board fried i gaurentee that your tanks burst valve would have gone off before it was hot enough to fry the board.
