I got a 2k angel lcd and just recently bought the data link for it. I plug it in and i can upload the gun info and save the setting for MROF and dwell to the gun but can't change or unlock any of the firing modes(the whole reason i bought the f-in thing). Am i missing something here?

If anyone has seen the software I cant change the setting where it says mode of fire...everytime i click the up or down arrow it wont do anything. And when i change the 5 custom settings i cant access them in the marker. I go to mode and push the right button but it just stays on "b"

any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you have to have that Sexy Angel program to unlock the other fire modes. Sorry if I'm wrong, but that's what I've heard.

Ok I got the Sexyangel software from WDP but now when i run it it doesnt find the gun on the com port...yet it will with the datalink software. Whats going on now???

for future referance it appears sexy angel will only work properly on WIN 98 and wont work on XP home or pro!! For crying outloud....try and find someone with WIN 98 still on their computer!!!

This thing is more of a pain in the ass then its worth thats for sure!! Sexy angel does work and it works well....however everytime i turn the gun off after saving the new settings it automatically resets to the stock settings....go figure!! in other words you have to leave the gun on from the moment you upload them to actually use them. POS!!

it is probaly meant for a lap top which can be brought to the field.

Bwahaha... I got a free Win98 laptop :bigok: cept my gun is ACED. I may sell it for around $350 or under if you want it.

Do a search on this topic, either for "datalink" or "NICKELS2". There are instructions for using hyperterminal to unlock the LCD. I used this the other day and it worked great. I was able to unlock my gun and it stays unlocked after I turn it off and back on. I have WIN XP on my computer and it worked fine.
