i was wondering if anyone else has had chopping and breaking issues with their empire reloader b. i have been using an egg and have never had any problems but when i switch to the B, it becomes a chopping and breaking frenzy. my settings are:
tr 1
lpr 65
dwell 11

if anyone had any pointers lemme know.

Did this happen all of a sudden? If you're chopping paint then there's a probably with your eyes detecting the paint. If you're breaking paint in the breech it could be poor paint. What speed are you using on the Reloader? I noticed that on a select few markers the ReloaderB/HaloB will double feed on markers, often times this can be resolved by slowing down the loader or by stretching the detent springs.

it started happening since the first time i used the reloader b, its not the eyes because i had them replaced just to make sure and again it works flawlessly with the egg. i would use the egg but it just doesnt feed fast enough.

What about all the other questions I asked in my previous post?

ive been using good paint diablo heat and formula 13, its definately not the eyes, and i have tried the loader on the slowest setting. i didnt stretch the springs, how would that make a big difference?

try using a V35 or stock halo and see if it the force feed causing the problems

It may or may not make any difference, all I know is it fixed the issue with an A4 I had with a similar problem. Curious, try turning the eyes off and set the MROF on the marker to 16. Shoot 10-12 shots and see what happens, raising the MROF after each set to see when the problems occur. If you're breaking paint on a speed setting that is significantly slower than the loader is capable of feeding then you can determine if it's double feeding. Double feeding will obviously cause breaking/chopping.

I'm buyin a Reloader soon, if my gun worked fine with a Halo it should work fine with a Reloader right?

Yes... I've used 4 different Reloader Bs on my Force on all three speed settings with zero problems.

I think im having the same issues with the halo B. Please excuse my ignorance but how do slow down the loader. Also are you refering to stretching the ball detent springs in the marker?

Thanks in advance.

I was having ball breaking issues with my 2 week old force fly in the breach. However I had a friend that's an angel tech looked at the gun. He made some Tr adjustments,i stretched the detent springs and we also found that the LPR was close to 80 psi out of the box. He made some adjustments and the gun has not broken a ball since. Other than the last ball in the feeder. Which i was told was normal when there is only one ball in the loader when firing rapidly.

Off topic:

The 3.7 board is cool :)

I was also having alot of problems with balls breaking in the breech, I use a Halo b w/ v35. Even with the loader on the lowest setting. What is strange is that it seems to come on all at once. Everything was fine using the same loader at the fastest setting. I tried chronic, draxxus, and wpg paint with no differance. I adjusted the ram, which seems to be off quite a bit, and haven't tried it since. Is there something else I should be looking for?

BTW, Ken you set up my Fly for me in early/mid summer.

If i wanted to use a reloader b on my converted IR3 w/eyes... would I have to get a second ball detent installed, upgrade to a cobra indestruct-detent, or just stretch the spring in my single stock detent???

O my god, I had the same problem last week, I used a Halo B and was chopping on 21 ROF, with the same type of paintballs, Diablo Heat...... I switched back on Egg and never had any chops...... I found out that the paintballs sucks and also I used the wrong barrell size.
They say that you cannot use dark type of balls on the Halo B because of the eye bad indication?
Everything works fine now

Barrel....689 with Diablo Heat
Halo B
TR....4
dwell.... 16
ROF.....25
Semi 1

Works for me

It's a thread about halob's but seeing as how the reloader has been giving some people the same problem take a gander in this thread.

In my experience, it's all about the paint. With the Blaze I pick up, I get absolutely no problems. The moment I go buy white box from this one local store, I'd be better off throwing the paint.

I've had better luck with the HALO B w/V35 board on speed 4-5. While it's not the fastest setting it certainly slings the paint on target while keeping my breech clean.

i still have problems with my reloader...and to tell you the truth it really sucks. you spend mad cash on good gear so you dont have problems. My egg works fine with the force fly...but throw on a reloader or a halo b on there and all you get is soup in your gun.

Reading that Snooky extented forum.... I guess were not the only folks having problems with the HALO B..... I think its the type of paint, barrel size, speed setting of the HALO B, Dedent spring, Dwell and weather... Who know's, just keep reading the forums and try it, until something works. OR just buy an EGG hopper

Mine works fine now
I adjusted the HAlO to 7 oclock
lowered my MROF to 24
and bought fresh paint. no chops what so ever
IF YOU BUY BAD PAINT.... FORGET ABOUT PLAYING
