Woooo! A4 boards rock!

SO guess what I've dropped my A4 fly board in my dark IR3 and spent hours upon hours tweeking it to get it as fast as possible. So guess what happend this weekend. The refs are dogging me because they swear im using full auto. It was so cool. My angel rips!

Yeah, putting the A4 board in my gun was the best thing I ever did to it. It absolutely rips :blasting: It'll keep up w/ all the competition out there w/o any problem whatsoever. I love it. :elephant:

I can keep it around at a consistant 22-24 bps......I like to walk the trigger.

I did my own magnet mod and it definitely helps. It makes it super easy to sustain high rates of fire. I had a friend who had only shot one angel before pick mine up and hit 18 bps and was amazed at how easy it was to shoot. W/o paint I shoot 24 bps, every time I turn it on. W/ paint I have hit 26. Normal rates of fire for me w/ paint are about 18 bps ('cuz eggs are slow).

Nope, I was using a halo and an a4 bolt but have yet to chop.

Interesting, do you have 2 ball detents? and what code halo are you using?

nope only one ball detent....I've gone through about 3 of them now and im using a halo-b...looking to get some eyes put on within the next few weeks i'll keep you posted.

Can annyone who has done this plz reply.

And will I have to get an Halo, or will the egg do ?


PS I live in Norway so it not the easy to send the gun to an MT.

Your gonna want a trigger that has the third set screw like the cobra triggers, and your gonna want to get a a4 charger...thats about all you need. The ir3 battery is fine to use.

Hey I'm new to angels, i just got my 2k3 ir3 fly and was wondering were to get the a4 board and whats the best place to get eyes

Used A4 boards are available from the Master Techs for $85. And The EyeQ upgrade (fly conversion) is also available from them. The Master Tech websites are listed along the very top of this page as they are the sponsors for the site. Either do one or the other though, because getting eyes also includes the board to run the eyes. Your stock Ir3 board will not run eyes and neither will the A4 board. The A4 Fly board is what is used in the conversion.

MT stands for Master Tech. They are the ones who know the most about angels. The hold the highest WDP certification. To contact them, scroll to the very top of the page, it says powered by: and list names. Those are the website's of different MTs. You can purchase the boards from their websites for $85 used. Also, the board doesn't come w/ a screen, however, the IR3 screen will fit, so just take the screen off of your IR3 board and put it on the A4 board.

how did u tweak the board. sounds awsome how fast you guys shoot. i am still pract. on making my angel faster i just bought the a4 board and it rips i am looking into the manget mod. how much r they and where would i be able to get one..

To "tweak" the board, I just bent the opto-leaf, 'till it was to my liking. As for the magnet mod, search around the forum and you'll see some DIY mods that work very well. The magnets cost about $2.00 at Radio Shack. Personally, I would suggest doing it yourself, because it's not that hard and it'll save you quite a bit of money.
