make sure everything around the trigger is where it is supposed to be, like nothing is blocking it

Did you take the trigger all the way out? Is there any rust on the pin? Look for where in the travel it sticks. Does it stick even if you have the frame off of the marker body? If the spring is too weak, you can try stretching it out and putting it back in. Some people trim the springs, but if it's too short, it won't have enough energy to return the trigger. If the trigger seems to be sticking on the side of the frame, make sure that the pin is in all the way and that the trigger is centered. Check for any cuts, scratches or burrs on the trigger itself or the frame where they are in close proximity to each other. If you find a burr or scratch, take the trigger out and sand the area down, then put it back on and see if that was the problem.
And the NW trigger is a darn good Cobra knock off.

Sometimes when you use loctite, it leaves a residue on the adjustment screw and it can cause the trigger to "stick." Had this happen to my speed but not lcd.

a pen spring should be fine as long as its roughly the same size. May need to trim it to get the proper "spring"
