I wouldent get my hopes up to far...IGN is known for blowing steam up your ass when it comes to what platform games will come out for...Also someone somewere may have gotten confused...If the only place youve seen that it will come out for PS2 is IGN then they prolly got something wrong

Well they have gone back on the eclusive part before (Splinter Cell i belive) by saying that an Xbox exclusive means exclsive content so it could be the differnce of a few levels if its a big hit.

Im modding my car so I can put a 19" LCD from a Laptop on the top of my car and il put an Xbox under the Passenger seat. with wireless controls. its gonna be sick.

I talked to the game developer yesterday and played it for like 2 and a half hours. They had a screening at fsl in Minnesota (activision value publishing HQ is in MN). First off, it rocks. Great feel, awesome graphics. Sliding, wiping, bouncers all the guns. It will be great once the online community forms up. I was told that there would only be a port to other systems if sales for the x-box version were good, so ign once again doesn't know what they are talking about. I know all the ballers out there will love it, but people that don't play pb are already complaining about the gun being on the screen in front of you. I don't know the last time I played that my gun wasn't right in front of my face, so it gives it an authentic feel. This isn't just a run around and shoot fps, it feels like paintball. See you all in mid november. Peace!

With real gear, real pros, real venues, and real sponsors (Severe, Tippmann, JT, R7, Dye, PMI, Draxxus), Greg Hastings' Tournament Paintball certainly seems to offer enough to make it the definitive paintball game. What's amazing is that this first foray into the genre from WXP is also shaping up to be a legitimately good and genuinely exciting FPS that will even add real originality to the shooter model.

Expect Tournament Paintball this November on Xbox with a PlayStation 2 version to follow some undisclosed amount of time later.

I think if this game is really as good as people are saying...and it does well they would be stupid not to bring it out for other game systems....I know for one that I am not going to go out and buy an X-box to play one game no matter how good it is...plus the x-box controller is terrible....
