My Speed will not shoot higher than 200 fps. During rapid shooting, I get mad shoot down. Here's my set-up:
Stock Speed with a large volumizer and a LP Crossfire tank. I just installed the volumizer, could that be the problem and would I have to make some adjustments? And I get bolt stick with the stock bolt.

your lpr is most likely low

what are ur other settings at, like dwell? im not sure if the addtion of a volumiser would require u to change other things too. check lpr and dwell. also, is ur gun fully charged? i had mad shootdown b4 too, like maybe 25 feet when ripping it. charged it up, good as new. hope u get it figured out.

I don't know what my lpr is set at. My dwell (according to the manual) is at max open 19 or so, not sure what number to use. My tank was fully charged. I just recharged my battery for about 8 hours so that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the reply guys.

Check the LPR pressure before you do anything else, if anything, that'll clear that problem if the LPR isn't it.

Check the LPR with the mini-reg adjustment in mid position. Depending on your taste (low or high) 55 to 75 is a good range. Now, go to the dwell and start low and keep increasing until you get to your desired fps area (300??) and then maybe go up one more notch to take care of any drop off (this is if your using lower lpr settings). If it does not, check out your tank regulator. We have had one go bad where the tank would drop off the flow to the gun. The volumizer only needs to be used if your are working in the lower pressure ranges. If its for looks only, no sweat. Good luck

What side is your volumizer on. It should be on the left side of the marker if the barrel is pointed at you.

Yep, thats the exaust port side. I have been told that putting one on the other side does increase capacity some because of the bleeder port between. But, you should not need any more than what you can get on the other side unless your really doing something weird. Thanks for pointing that out by the way. I forgot to mention it and you would not believe how many times I see someone running around with it on the wrong side.

do u use an on/off valve? if so then don't screw it in all the way. this happened to me when i fist got my lcd. i hope this helps and good luck.

sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. don't screw the valve in all the way. stop turning it maybe 90* before it is screwed in all the way, because when it is in all the way it starts to close a little more. don't ask me why but it just does.

so you are saying your FPS is more consistent or something when ur on/off isnt screwed all the way in?

I had kinda the same problem but when i screw my on/off in i just screw it all the way in then 1/2 to 1 turn out. All the way in i would get like 2-3 shots then it would stop. It was kinda weird but once i backed it out a lil it was perfect.

My Shocktech On/Off works perfectly all the way in. What on/offs are you guys using?

I'm using a physcoballistics bullet drop.

Thanks for the idea guys, much appreciated. I have a Check It Unimount, hopefully that's not the problem. I'll try charging the battery for a day and chrono it when I get the chance.
