My 2k2 LCD breaks balls horribly with my Halo B, but rocks with my EvoII...

I am considering the necessary mods to get the Halo & LCD to play nicely... (I have a new beefed up detent but that doesn't help) the Victory board looks like a possible solution--IS IT?

Seems like the low setting onthe V35 (17BPS) would put less pressure on the ball stack, yes? Anybody?

Thanks for your help!

EDIT:
This is a 1800 (low, low shot count) LCD (bone stock) except for the detent, Dye stickies, Freak barrel, and a Chipley (med rise, drop and asa). It is a new Oddessy Halo B...

All LCD menus are set to factory defaults (dwell = 14)...

that shouldnt be the prob due to that the "spring" is the pressure which is putting on the pin....the settings r just speed for the motor to spin the cone at......

Try using the tork adjustment on the HALO, its the little dial on the top of the board, it will not affent your BPS, just the tork of the motor.

Also....what's a "beefed up detent" to you. The only I've seen work 100% succesfully are the Indestrct Detent by Cobra, and the AGD ones.

I have a nondescript angel detent with a slightly sronger spring--not much more than stock, really...

Will look into the AGD as my friend is a dealer for them..

Is the torque adjustment pot on the V35 board or the stock board? both?

Thanks again!

both..and yeah, look into the AGD ones, I hear they work well, but I know from experience that the Cobras work very well, also they are rebuildable, so you will more than likely NEVER have to buy a detent again.

I just bought a Halo for my LCD w/ the stiffest cobra detent and the soft-face bolt. I plan on buying some paint tomorrow to try it out.

I tried it today. It chopped the first two times I tried it, but I adjusted the ram further in and it was fine after that.

Agreed, the detent is the problem, I suspect...

I have also drilled my halo to be able to adjust the pot... and am trying to egt the AGD detent (since it has an adjustable tension on the detent--and can be fully disassembled for cleaning)...

The ram stroke was my problem, make sure that's adjusted right.

Im having the same ballbreaking problem with my new halo, but i don't have a stiffer ball detent or a softface bolt. So, how exactly did you adjust the the ram to fix this? I wanna first do this, while i order a cobra ball detent and a softface bolt.
