Absolutely. I had my Angel humming, or so I thought. Until I messed it up like an idiot by over-oiling. I was used to cockers...
So I sent my baby out to Ken Crane. It gets back and it's shooting darts, freaking shots are on a rope and consistent as can be over the chrono even with bad paint (but still a correct paint to barrel match). After seeing the light I plan on sending mine in around once a year just for preventive maintenance and to keep it running in tip top shape. You take care of your equipment, it'll take care of you.
I have a Cobra LCD that shoots better than any of our other Angels. There's noticeable difference in consistancy and accuracy. The guys at Cobra do a first rate job in getting the most out of any Angel.
IMO, a good tune-up, by a first rate Angel tech is worth every penny.

Well based on what Ken Cranes good service is...
well, it speaks for it self here:
1. Total disassembly of marker, every screw and every piece. The marker is cleaned, polished and dried.
2. Digital photo is taken of disassembled marker and sent to owner.
3. O-rings, seals and soft parts are examined, cleaned, dried and lubricated using Love Juice.
4. If malfunction/damaged part is found, part is replaced and photo available of damaged part with explanation sent to owner.
5. Trigger adjustment set to user specification, various springs to choose from as well as set screw loctites.
$59.00 + shipping
*parts under warranty are covered
*damaged parts will be covered at owner’s expense

I like to stick to the Techs that are sponsors of this forum. I have personally dealt with most if not all and they are all good people, offer excellent (read unparalleled) service and great prices on their products and said services. Contact them, due to the fact that most of them have heavy workloads, for turnaround time. Keep in mind, the fact that they have heavy workloads means people already know they're good ;)

My baby got a tune-up from him, never send it to anyone else. BTW it's a Dark, so I could have sent it for free to Warped. Any questions?

speed, i am curious about your "over oiling" problem. unless you dump a half a bottle into your solenoid, excess oil shouldnt hurt your gun. it will be shot out in a few shots. now unless the oil you were using was either mixing with grease or it was bad oil, nothing detrimental should have happened to the 'noid. explain in more detail

Warped Sportz hasn't specialized in Angels or had an Angel exclusive tech on staff in years. I'd much rather pay a few bucks and have it done by somebody who isn't just a shop monkey. Of course, I do all my own tuning and maintenance, but if I were going to send my guns out, Bob or Ken is where they would go.

How about I send my gun to you! :) Who is Bob or Ken and where can I find them? Oh yea Dr. strange, is there a way I can contact you more directly as you have been very helpful in my attempted resurface into the sport. Thanks, Christian

Bob and Ken are WDP's main two Master Techs in the US. They can be found at www.fixmyangel.com and www.performanceangel.com respectively.
If you need to get a hold of me and you don't want to post, just PM me. I'm at my computer all day pretty much, and my PM notifications come straight to my email.
