So what tips to you guys have for a new IR3 owner. I still have a few LCD kicking around so I am more interested in setting that you find to be working great. I picked up a Blue dust Fly IR3 with a matching Angel AIR.

Right you are this is one of the main reasons I wait to get one at the show rather then online. I cost me about $25 more then I could have found online but it has all the latest improvements.

On a side note WDP were selling 2002 C&C LCD's for $900. No wonder the price has bottemed out on the LCD angels. I would not pay more then $650-$700 for a new one now that I know that.

Jason is right, breaking the gun in and getting used to it are about all there is to it initially. The gun will tell you when to oil and grease it.

Also, we were selling the CNC LCD's at the event for $999, the Base models were the ones we had at $899.

That's cool you got a Fly IR3 ... I thought they looked gay when I saw the pics.. but they look a whole lot better in person. I was tempted to buy one...

I love my iR3. I don't use my COPS at all. It does not work to well. Plus the gun doesn't pinch paint anyway. How do you like the optical trigger. I have one of the first Dark iR3's and I love my trigger. Can you get more BPS with the optical?

I was able to shoot air with the opta trigger at IAO. They didn't adjust the trigger as short as I would like it.. but it felt good... even though the travel was longer.. it still shot fast. I can't wait until I get mine.

Owen told me it will be available at World Cup for a board trade but will cost about $120 to do so.

DUDE...$125 for a board trade!!! Man thats expensive to trade it... Im thinking its not gunna be worth it if you have to shell out 125 bucks with your old board. Oh well, My IR3 shoots as fast as i can pull, so im happy....

The first IR3 I shot had the microswitch trigger system on it and it shot very fast like any other angel LCD.

I do believe I can shoot the opta-trigger faster. It seems to have a better sweet spot. It hard to explain the only thing I can tell you is you have to try it out with air so you can really feel the difference.

so if i send my ir3 c+c board from england to you, you would replace it to fire all firing modes and 5 programable modes. cheers rich

what????

you resurrected a thread that's over a year old where the topic had turned to board swaps at the 02 World Cup in Orlando.

Nobody is unlocking ANY boards for the IR3.
