O.k. firstly you need to make sure your paint is good, try some different brands and make sure you have a good barrel size to paint size match. This is important.
Also check your ball detent is functioning correctly, maybe try someone else's if you can.
All paintball markers require a hopper that can feed as fast as you want to fire to achieve those rates. A stock egg II has been shown to only effectively feed 13bps. If you get a Z-board this will increase. make sure your battery's are good and fresh.
Your Cops settings should be set everytime you use different paint. Sens should be lowered right down and then raised until it shoots with every pull of the trigger (at a slow rate).
Set your BAS to 1 (1 ball a second) this way if cops doesnt detect the ball it gives the hopper a second to load a ball before it will fire. This will minimise chopping but may slow down the rate of fire until your hopper can keep up. The good thing is, if you notice pauses when firing, it will show your hopper isnt keeping up.
Your dwell is o.k. but you may want to raise or lower by 1 and see if it helps.

Here are my current settings as a reference:

C&C IR3 Mem5 Cops1
SENS 8 (+/- 1 normally)
BAS 1
Dwell 14
mrof doesnt matter, I'm always on cops. Cmrof at 16 as a safety because......
STOCK EGG II at the moment.
(cough) SP 10" Freak set (can change my barrel size by changing the inserts).
Input pressure from my tank is 600psi and LPR is set to 85.

Maintenance: get a manual from www.wdp.tv
Normal oil service is just putting 2 drops of oil in the ASA or microline and firing it through the marker then wiping it off the bolt. then 1 drop in the exhaust port (under the breach) and fire it through and again wipe down the Bolt.
Grease service will require tools to do so I suggest you take it to a shop to do or learn how to do them and get a tool kit.

Happy hunting and make sure you read these forums, the search tool is very usefull :peace:

The other problem I notices while using a stock EGG 2 was that the sens on the cops really matters as the pressure from the egg wasnt consistent and wasnt very hard, so you are still dealing with gravity with that hopper. I was capable of hitting 16bps with a stock egg 2, mind you that was only once, for the most part I did only hit 13, damn battery hogs those things. But yea just drop like 40 bucks at a new ZBoard for the egg and you will be fine.
