Hello everyone,
I'm an angel virgin and wondering what the TR settings are, im hearing that it's the trigger bounce and that a low setting is a high bounce factor. Now, could someone please help me out. I would like to know how to adjust the tr settings, I can't find it in the manual. And just one more quick question, what is the cap on BPS after you have calibrated the sensi?
Thanks,
Craig

Hey craig, congrats on your angel. TR is how sensitive the board is to trigger pulls. This might sound wierd but, with a lower TR number, the board doesn't filter out any quick pulls. With a higher TR number, the board filters out certain pulls that the board deems as "not actual pulls" It does this because each marker kicks a little different and a kick can actually fire the marker.
To adjust the TR. Unscrew the grips on the screen side. This will expose two buttons, one's blue and the other's yellow. Push the yellow button until it say TR and a number. Then push the blue button 'till you get the desireable TR number.
The BPS is capped at 31 bps after you calibrate SENSI.
Anymore questions don't be afraid to post, we're here to help.

Wow, obveously I'm impressed with that post, thanks for being so informative and yet so quickly. I'm loving the angel and haven't had any of the problems everyone else has been whining about. But I will ask one more question.. what did you do with your trigger, did you leave it in the manufacturers postition, or did you shorten the pull?
Thanks again,
Craig

You're welcome, and thank you. I shorten it. I am shooting an IR3, with my own personal magent mod, so my pull is only about half a mm. But, I have done trigger jobs on A4's and I shortened it and also lightened it. If you want to lighten it, runa search for either, the cure for a softer pull OR rubber band mod (I think those are the name of the posts). However, trigger is subjective and each person sets theirs different. Just adjust it 'till its comfortable.

Ok, I just heard that alot of people ran into Sensi problems and BPS problems with the trigger being adjusted? How hard is the factory trigger pull from the factory, like just a rough idea, because i know there's no way you could tell me exactly!

I haven't had any problems w/ SENSI or the pause thing, and I have an A4 board in my IR3 and the trigger is as short as it will get. As for BPS, I hit 26 bps one game, so it's not really that big of a deal. It just depends, some of the factory trigger pulls were lighter than others, sorry, but I don't know how to describe them.

There's three ways you can go about adjusting your trigger:

1.) Bending the leaf switch
2.) Adjusting the TR
3.) Adjusting the wheels & TOE

There's no set formula for success, but a good rule of thumb is to adjust the wheels and TOE to where the pull feels good for you and then lower the TR until the marker starts to bounce/shoot illegally. Keep in mind that on the A4 the TR is 1 (most bounce) and 21 (least bounce).

dont bend the leaf spring... if you are gonna lighten the leaf spring. do the rubber band mod... it does exactly the same and doesnt permenantly change something...
