I'm new to Angel and in fact, I'm about to pick up new '05 Speed.
Why do most people dump on Angel markers?
I've been to a few forums and people at a few of the fields I play always criticize the Brand. I've always thought they were a cut above everyone else with their technology and now with the Fly and Speed (ACE) I think they are awesome markers.
Is it jealousy or ignorance?
Mods:I couldn't find where to post this - sorry.

Actually it is a little bit of both...
Everyone now thinks that Timmies are the crap, which is what they are, crap.
I still beleive that Angels are still by far the best out there, but that is my personal prefference.

i personally consider it to be mostly ignorance.
and its usually the ones that have never even held an ANGEL.

I've found that most people who "dump" on a particular name brand (of anything) are typically young, immature, and ignorant. This is probably one of those cases.
There is simply NO denying the craftsmanship and customer service of WDP.

Exactly. Like at my last tournament I was walking onto the field with my Fly and some little kid (no older than 12) says "You should have a got a DM4."
I just looked at him and was like WTF?

Best thing u can do is go try out an angel speed 05 shoot about 200 balls, then go try a timmy and you will probobly run back to the angel faster than you can spell a.n.g.e.l
Btw: Both guns should be stock guns, say an alias and a speed 5.
good luck!

No kidding. I hate how many ignorant people there are in this sport. I mean, I'm pretty ignorant too, but at least I admit it and ask questions! lol! I think what is happening is people think that any marker over $900 should be basically playing the game for them right out of the box. They don't know how it works, how to take care if it, or even how to operate the thing. So they get an A4 or a Fly, don't know how to work it because they're ignorant and didn't read the manual, and then complain that it's crap because they are stupid.
People like this need to be shot (with paintballs, that is).

Also, Just because they are young doesnt make it anyworse. Now you guys are going to begin knocking on little kids who also have a opinion and love the sport just as much.
Look im 13. And I love paintball but i am disrespected everywhere because i am a kid with a nice gun and am Immedietly concidered a poser. Even though I work my ass of to get my money. So Please Just because "This kid on older then 12 said this" Doesnt mean they are bad and dont have a opinion. Maybe the kid likes Dm4s more then A4 Flys. Even though Dm4s are all the hype.
My teammate has a timmie. I would hardly say they are crap. His has a few ups to it. I love the way it shoots. I would get myself a timmie if the price was right. But when I buy my next gun it will still be a angel. I love the way it shoots, and looks. I think they are more bang for your buck too. I got my angel a while back, put a MT trigger on it, and a Low rise feed neck, and thats it. Other than that oil, and go. Couldnt have made a better choice for a first high end gun.

You are very right. I've met middle school kids who knew more than most of the refs I know, and some "adults" that I was surprised knew which end the paintballs came out of. I just have a thing against people who are ignorant or have little or no experience with a particular subject telling people what they should buy or that this gun is the shiznit when they probably don't even know how the gun works.
