ok I'm an angel newb, just got my 05 speed and I read the manual (well most of if) and It didnt really have enough information. so I got a few tech questions I'll try and be specific.

1. can it ramp and if so to what extent can you modify actuation and rof? I read the manual and it did not mention ramping or programming fireing modes (I don't think it even said how to turn on full auto).

2. in the manual it says with eyes off it's capped at 18bps and it says its uncapped with the eyes on. supposedly you can change the MROF but I couldn't quite figgure out how. does anyone know anything about this?

3. is there a more detailed manual than the one it comes with. (if so where can I find it)

4. can you use that datalinker thingamajigg to change settings.

1. It doesn't mention ramping or programming or full auto because it is semi auto only
2. MROF is capped at 18bps and is not adjustable
3. nope, thats the only manual
4. the data jack gets used by techs to update the software on the board

Hope that helps, ps. I love your sig I'm a big Aqua Teen Junkie. Welcome to the Angel family!

ok thats pretty much waht I was thinking, didn't really want ramping but if it was there I sure was gonna mess around with it. I've already made progress with the marker I think I've got all the programming stuph down allz I gotta do now is re adjust the dwell settings when I get my volumizers.
The only part that I don't really understand is the "software version" part of the manual. what is the software version (will there be new software in the future) and it says "depress the trigger for every level of adjustment required" when I pull the trigger nothign happens. the first 2 green lights are on when I'm viewing that menu but it won't change. I guess that's because it only has one software mode but is there a way to make new ones?
thanx for the help, sry I'm a newb :pat: but I'll be up to par in a few more days.

Its not so much that you are a newb to Angels. But that you have a new gun that that not many people are using right now. So therefore, people cant really help you out in the way that you may want.

I think I got it setup pretty well, I got it on the 3rd hopper setting (the one that w8s for the eyes) and I have debounce on 4 but it has so little kick that I didn't really notice much (if any) bounce when I was dry fireing it, even with db on the highest setting (highest=most bounce) . I'll let you guys know how it works out on the field, hopefully I'll be able to play friday :x: but we'll see...I got some hard kore math review class I gotta take this weekend if I wanna get into grad school.

What exactly is debounce?

debounce limits switch bounce, either electronic or mechanical bounce, basically the gun firing more than once per pull

NEW user friendly Speed LED display system delivers the most advanced player to gun interface in its class, accessing 6 firing modes, with trigger offset, 4 loader settings, Dwell Adjustment, R.O.F indicator, Multi level Battery Indicator, Eye on/off indicator and test feature and Software version Indicator.

Oh well thas what I read^ and I thought it was pretty clear that there was 6 firing modes I guess I mis-interpreted it.

yeah I did 2. I also thought that the ROF indicator ment that it worked when the eyes were on, it doesnt. it is only on when the eyes are off and the board is capped at 18 bps as far as I can tell. but then again it don't really matter, I got the thing for the performance not gadgets.

Exactly, same here. I mean, its a Fly without all those extra features that you don't really need, plus it has a wicked new trigger!

yeah the trigger is insane, its really snappy and responsive, everybody who has played with the thing (non paintballers) can get the thing up to 18bps without even trying.
