I've finally gotten a tool kit for my IR3 and am able to check my LPR pressure. The reason I got it is because I felt that my gun isn't efficiently using air. I've seen posts that say you should get 1500-1800 shots per tank. I'm using a 68/3000 ACI tank, and I get nowhere near that. Also my LPR is around 95 or a hair less.Could I benefit by dropping it more than that and making other adjustments? Basically I'm looking for settings you guys may be having good luck with such as LPR pressure,dwell etc. Also what are some good all around barrels you guys would recomend. I've got the stock 14" and I also got a 12" Dye Excel (I know its cheap, I paid $9 for it) but I'm looking to increase my accuracy and flatten my trajectory. Thanks for the help.

I run my LPR at 95 with a dwell of 14 and have no problems. The reason you are seeing such high amounts of shots per tank is because most of us are using 68/4500 tanks. That gives a lot more shots per fill. If you want more settings run a search. There's a couple of threads on them.

Also give your gun a good cleaning regularly, I do it after every use, a bit extreme but I like tearing it apart thats just me. Now I know most people on here say that the volumizer wont do a thing for dropping your LPR pressure and blah, but im pretty sure it does, becasue every since ive had my IR3 ive had the cobra volumizer on it and ive run my LPR at 80 psi from day one and no problems. Also I would reccomed investing in a high quality barrel kit, nothing like the freaks or Pipes, something like a dye boomy set, get the SS or TI sets because the backs have a better coeffiecent of friction compared to the AL ones. There are other barrel sets out there shop around though. If you dont have that kind of money then one of the interchangable sets is fine. I am right now running my LPR at 60 psi and I get a lot more shots per fill from my 45/45, granted ive only been able to use the tank from a 3000 fill but I still get as many shots as the guys using the big 68 if not more.
