Looking for a good step by step process to adjust my new trigger.
Rob, first off, the metal wheels that Russ put on it DO NOT affect the trigger travel like the original venier wheels did, if he replaced the original wheels with metal ones like my Force has. At least mine don't, they just provide space filler and for the front one to hold the magnet that attracts the front trigger travel screw. Caution, the rear one on mine had a hole drilled thru it..so if that hole is centered over the rear trigger set screw, it allows the trigger to travel a loonnngg way to the rear as the set screw moves into the void of the hole. I'd leave the wheels alone, no need to adjust them even if they appear to capable of it. Try the following:
1. Back out the screw accessible thru the center of the trigger blade, in the grip. This is what will activate the spring for the OPTO on the board. You'll have to pop off the left hand side grip to see it. Back off until it doesn't make contact with the spring.
2. At the top of the trigger, there is a screw in the front tab portion. That screw contains the other magnet although you cannot see it. Adjust that screw out/in until you have your desired amoiunt of trigger travel fore & aft.
3. Holding the trigger back in rearward position, adjust the TOE screw thru the center of the trigger blade inwards until it activates the board (LCD will light up). You can also do this with marker aired up until it "fires". Once you have the TOE screw adjusted to point it fires, adjust further in maybe a 1/4 or 1/8 turn more...just to make sure.
4. With marker aired up, test with eyes off to make sure that when trigger is released, then pulled again the marker will fire. Consistently! If it doesn't, you need to either back off the TOE screw or the trigger front screw (see #2 above) a little so the OPTO can reset properly.
I know when I received my Force from Russ the trigger travel was pretty long and sloppy compared to my personal tastes, so I changed mine. You've tried my trigger...you can do the same if you like. Also, make sure your marker is in MODE-1 when you do this. If you have problems, give me a holler.
Reguardless of how you set up your trigger, if it has the magnetic mod, you must have 0.70mm of space between the toe adjustment screw and the leaf spring.

To Russ
When you say that the toe has to be 0.70mm apart from the leaf spring, is this apart from touching the leaf spring or for activating the leaf spring to shoot?

hey russ. is the 0.70mm clearance true to force speed as well? I guess if it is, you supposed to have pretty long trigger travel. i adjusted mine so it will shoot with a hair movement of trigger.. I'm pretty sure that toe screw is pushing leaf spring all the time. hmm thankss

I have the magnet mod and MT trigger. And im trying this ..
I took out the second metal wheel
And put the orginal wheel, to have more control on the PIVOT "screw"
but its the same.. i dont feel any difference
If you are going to put the vernier wheel back in, you will need the re-adjust the screw to the original height.
