As a many of you noticed, there have been a lot of questions about jason flying around the last few weeks. As some of you have noticed jason has not been around at all. That is due to the fact that he has left for personal reasons. So, despite certain rumors, there was nothing major that everyone needs to make a big stink about.

Hopefully this puts this issue to rest. Someday we may see jason back again.

To clear things up

Jason is not dead
Jason is doing fine and enjoying his time off
Jason is no longer owner of the site
Jason no longer administrates / moderates the site

Jason is still a member of the site
Jason may come back someday and post again as we know his posts were very informative.

So on that note, lets give some credit to the sponsors for allowing the site to still progress and grow without the help of jason for now.

Im sure jason will be missed and i know there will still be a lot of questions asked about him, he may be back he may not, but lets at least thank him for putting a lot of time and effort into this site and having a huge part to do with what you see today.

I received this email from jason today and he asked me to post this for you guys,

Members of AOG,

First off, I want to wish all the members and those related to the Angel Owners Group a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday season. I hope that Santa was good to each of you this year and that you all got what you were hoping for under the tree. Secondly, I wanted to say thank you for your concern about the recent chain of events related to my involvement on the AOG Team. Things happened quickly and I apologize for my ‘vanishing act.’ I trust that each one of you feel satisfied in knowing that the AOG will continue to grow and achieve its community goals, with or without my presence.

However, I did want to clear up a few misconceptions that I’ve seen/heard floating around. Matt has recently made a thread related to these discussions but I felt it appropriate to have a release on my end.

Matt Bohach will remain webmaster of AOG and co-administrator along with the three site sponsors.

Ken Crane, Eric & Sean Bratten and Ron Vogel will remain active sponsors of the AOG community and are currently the only support organizations. However, these gentlemen have assured me that numerous other support systems are being established.

The current moderators will remain in their respective positions, as they’re all doing a real fine job of keeping AOG safe/fun for everyone.

I am no longer affiliated with the site, I no longer own/administrate and currently have no ties or relationships with AOG. In addition my email address of info@angel-owners.com has been disabled and I can be reached at 88fearing@cua.edu for personal correspondence only.

The Master Technicians will continue to run the site along with the assistance of Matt, moderators and WDP. It is my greatest wish that the site continues to grow at the same rapid rate and is recognized by more and more outside sources.

My account: J.Fearing-AOG has been disabled and my posts pruned, as I’m currently just browsing the boards to ensure that our community continues to flourish.

I ask you all kindly for your continued support of the sponsors, moderators and WDP and the helpful assistance that you all give to each other on the message boards. I wish each of you the best in the upcoming months and your 2003 season.

I hope to see each of you on AOG, once again.

Regards,

Jason Fearing

If "why" was any of our business, he would have told us... (not trying to be snippy) HAPPY TRAILS, DUDE!!!

Pretty snippy if you ask me...The reason I ask why is why tell us all this garbage and beat around the bush without telling us the real reason?

There was no garbage. It just took us a bit to collect ourselves and figure out the best way to tell everyone. AOG has always been, and shall continue to be in the future, as forthcoming as possible.
Jason has been very well known in forums for years. When this happens you accumulate friends...and enemies. He had a personal dispute on another forum with another "high profile" person. He felt it was not conducive to this site and would reflect upon AOG. He decided it was best to distance himself for a while. I found it very unselfish and professional of him, he was giving up this site, his baby, for the betterment of it. Very admirable. I also personally feel that he should, and eventually will, be back.
