i need the spring for the ball detents for a force fly. i looked the only have the fly. the force fly and fly detents are different.

..covers differ...

..and if you are real desperate, you can take the spring from a ball point pen and "experiment" with it until your replacement springs arrive...

nope...even the covers are the same

if it's a Fly all parts are the same and interchangeable. Springs, eye covers, ribbons etc.

sorry emmit the force fly and the fly detents are different. the fly has a fat small spring and the force fly has a tall thin spring. THEY DO NOT WORK EMMIT. I TRIED THEM. I bought the flys detents because the local shop who has mts said they would fit and they dont so i had to take them back and he said sorry and he is going to get the right springs in for my force. so there emmit your not always RIGHT. lol lol lol lol

...Uh Emmit, sorry for the confusion. I should have specified my response as "the Force Fly and JD Fly have the same style covers, which differ from a standard Fly eye cover due to the difference in the body milling"... as depicted here in this link

..Slam, the "local shop who has mts" probably sold you the springs for an A4's detent initially, check this link (scroll down a page or so and look for 'LP ANTI DOUBLE BALL DETENT SPRING') then compare it to the spring in the link above...

then tell me how 4...that's right count them 4 guns on my team all use the same parts...A Joy Division, a Force, and 2 Fly's...;)

You can still get out of a Jam ussing the Pen spring & cutting, it would only make sense that anything with "eye covers" will use the same springs.

emmit i do not know anything about the jd but the force fly and the regular fly do not has the same detents.
