if you lower LPR you will get less kick...

Is that the only advantage in a volumiser? I still dont understand the whole volumiser thing. Is there anywhere to read up on it to understand it fully?

How bad is this "kick" you speak of? Did you dislocate your shoulder while shooting the marker? I wouldn't recommend lowering the LPR right off the bat, let the marker break in to get the maximum work out of the unit.

well compared to older angels mine kicks alot more.
dunno how many balls i should shoot before its break in as u said. i have shot 5 cases of 2000 balls.

anyway im going to take it to service today becouse i wanna know what pressure its putting out.

Remember that kick is based on two things:

1) Actual energy of the 'kick' caused by internals and air.

2) Motion of the gun caused by the energy of the kick.

The motion of the gun is determined by the weight. Heavier the gun is, less you will 'feel' the kick. The speed 05 is supposed to be the lightest yet, so all other things being equal, you'll feel more kick.

well i fitted a volumiser today after talking to frazier at wdp.
he told me stock pressure is about 300psi wich in my opinion is to much.

so i will have to try the gun tomorow and see if it helps.

So...did it help?

yes but im still playing around with my dwell and stuff. also would like to know more about lpr pressure mods since i dont know really myself, i dont buy that u get around 150psi by just adding a volumiser as manual states.

you probably mean Jouster....but unfortunately there is speculation on that.

to reduce kick, go for the GYm membership Mod

My new 05 is probably around 60-70psi stock. I think he lowers it to around 40 which almost all new FLY internal guns can get, anyways it was for speeds&A4. I think you guys need to sac up and actually hold onto the GUN(cause all guns have kick). I dont really notice any excessive kick

i use the fly recomended settings posted by ken crane in the fly section, the settings for me are from about 65-68 lpr and dwell at 9, he said that these settings can make you shoot faster or something, so i just use them. However he recomends to use a medium volumizer on the fly. So i tried these settings out, WITHOUT a volumizer, and i noticed there was absolutly no kick. I believe they said that the empty section above the reg on the speed acts like a volumizer.

Well you need to purchase the angel too kit from any of the mt stores above, they also might have it on some other stores.

or of course you can always send it too any of the mastechs and they would change the settings for you.
