anyone ever had there tank filled and immediatly blow the macro line and the secure clip on your fitting out, yea happened to me not once but twice today so anyone got any ideas on how to fix it would be great, im figuring somethin has to be stuck wide open to generate pressure like that


btw shot the fitting clip into the wall ill post pics when i get em back

bad fittings...it's happened before. There have been a few people start threads about them. Just replace the fitting, and make sure that your air is off when you're filling;)

twice in a row is a pretty unlucky coincidence though, but yes i've had a fitting go bad on me once

I have had the line pressure get Excessive if I dont back out the adjuster screw before filling ???, never blew a line though??

So your supposed to turn off your tank when you fill up????
I have a max-flo. I never turned it off for this. :pat:

It is recommended on the "Angel Air" tanks to back the Reg adjuster screw out for filling, this reduces the risk of a flash fill & overpressuring anything

yah, gotta look on the bright side, bad fittings are good for the heart!...Itll get a work out for the next week when it goes bang =)
