I just got my speed flied, and it works great. However, I love the look of the speed 05. I know with the speed 05, I won't have an LCD screen anymore, but it's not something I really cared for to begin with. Besides the trigger, are there any other advantages to getting an 05? Is this a wise decision? This is not an advertisement thread, I'm just curious as to what others think.

I am slo in the same boat as well. I have goten my speed retroed too, and at first I thought to swap it out fo the new 05. But after further consideration, I can not justify making the swap. Other then for the more comfortable trigger, and an over all more comfortable and lighter gun to hold I dont see there being any performance gain over any retroed speed, retroed A4, force fly, Euro or any of the Flys.
Also, seeing as how they pulled out a bangin new trigger as well as put eyes on the SPEED, I would also like to wait and see what they do for the A5 and Fly versions of the 05 lineup. And then make my decision then. Because once the A5 and Fly come out, I think there will be something to consider.

I thinnk yall should do it. Better trigger system and better mini reg. And yeah Frank they might shoot faster due to the new trigger system with Roller Bearings and Magnets.

Why would you get the speed05 just asking, but the Evil pimp kit is un-capped for its R.O.F, also How long is the forces warranty and what extra features are there on the force
fly over the A4 fly?

My teamate just bought a Evil Pimp kit durring the day of our last tournament (we placed 3'rd). And he went to test the gun out right after buying it, but it didnt fire any faster ten 180 fps, and wasnt capable of firing any faster. So the store took it back. And only after this did the guy who sold it to him tell my teamate that he really hates the Evil Pimp kits because they suck. The trigger, the regulator...everything. Sorry to anyone that has one and loves it, but the Evil is in my opinion a §§§§ty gun. So are many things from Evil.

Maybe a little boring. I like them though. They have a smoother look to them than the older speeds IMO. I have a teammate who wants to get a timmy. I've seen 2 timmy's that look ok and the rest look like something from an 8th grade art project. I think the angel bodies are sexy as hell, when so many other markers look like if you'd grab it the wrong way, you're going to need stitches. Point is, boring can be good IMO, especially when a lot of other companies are going too far the other way.
But I'd get the Speed 05, just cause I like to see people spend money, its good for the economy.

No, the Evil Pimp is nto just a conversion of the body. When you buy the gun, it has a differet valve, trigger (really small and §§§§ty trigger too), different in-line regulator (also really bad), different bolt, diffferent grips, different feed neck, different eyes, different board, and a different lpr/tapeworm.
