Get a second hand A4 board from www.angelservicecenter.com and drop it in yourself. Best option if you wanna upgrade.

That is the replacement IR3 board. Just buy the used A4 board from angelservicecenter.com, and drop it in. That's all it takes. I did it and it absolutely rocks.

Grab the $85 A4 board, but keep in mind that you'll need to scavenge the actual LCD screen itself off of your IR3 board (it's easily removeable), or else you'll need to grab a new screen (~$50). The $85 boards don't come with one; they just come with the board itself.

Just wanted to mention that, in case you're upgrading because your screen is broken or something.

get the fly conversion kit with the LED board if you got enough money just as fast as the A4 board and your IR3 will be pretty unique you dont see many IR3s with speed boards now do ya? thats just my opinion.

Well i dont have the money for a fly conversion so im gonna go with the a4 board and i like having the lcd better, flashing lights would probally confuse me.

Wait how much is the fly conversion with led

For the people with ir3's that have installed the a4 board, did u have any complications? whats the difference between your ir3 board and the A4 board? did u have to change batteries? and what board were u suing prior...for example mem4 cops2.

I had no complications. I just took out the IR3 board and dropped in the A4 board. I did however bend the leaf a little bit, to adjust it to my liking, but it wasn't necessary. The difference between the two boards is basically the A4 one is faster and has adjustable de-bounce. I did not change batteries, but I use a speed charger and have for a long time, even before the board swap. I had a MEM 6 before the swap now I have a LP V2.

Shouldn't, The only difference between MEM 3 and MEM 6 is that MEM 3 is a microswitch board, and MEM 6 is an optoswitch board. The A4 board is an optoswitch, but it should fit fine. I'm not completely sure though because I haven't messed with an IR3 microswitch board.

Nope, it won't matter what version your IR3 board was.

And since you asked, Fly conversion on an IR3 is $350 with a Euro Speed board, and $400 if you want a Fly board with LCD screen.
