995 or angelparts.com is running a special 1045 and it comes w/ two 9.6 volt NmH Power Ex batteries, and a Power Ex 4-bank 9.6 volt charger with car and home plug adapters.
^Nice. I thought the whole point of the 9v was that you didn't have to screw around with rechargeables.

somewhat true, but why would you not want a rechargable battery, do you know how much 9 volt batteries cost to buy, I dont think its so much to get away from rechargable, i think its more along the line of convenience, if your batteries go bad now its not super expensive to fix and you can buy them at just about any store.

So the 9 volts that come with it aren't rechargeable?

Powerex are nice batteries. They're all I use to power my Halo.

Every time that I see a post like this, I remember this thread:

It's your choice on where you want to buy your gear, but the sponsors offer more than those sites ever will. If you gun breaks or needs service, do you send it back to pbgear.com or from which ever online warehouse, NO, you send it to one of our sponsors so why not just get it from them to begin with? There's also something called MAP pricing so it's going to be 995 where ever you look.

will the master techs service your gun even if a bought it from paintballgateway.com. They probably will but it will cost you because you dont have a warranty. Am i right about this?

I've seen all of the prices online at 995, and I called a local shop to see what they could get me one for. They don't have any 05's in stock yet, but they are saying $950. I've been angel shopping for a while (more like angel saving). Check them out http://www.stonemakpaintball.com/ they don't have an online store, but they are very helpful/friendly if you call them up or email them.

The price they are supposed to be selling 05's at is $995. I'm pretty sure they would get in trouble with WDP if they caught them selling that low.

I dont think they would because they said that they have not gotting a pricing on them yet. I said I have seen them online for $995. I think its after the first while that they drop the price.

I'm not sure how the paintball retailing world works, but in the real world, EVERYTHING has a markup. Its up to the retailer to dictate how much of a markup to apply, not the manufacturer. Price fixing is illegal and I highly doubt WDP would do anything like that. That sounds more like something Smart Parts would do, not WDP.
Me and 2 teammates of mine are going to hit up a few retail shops and see what we can get for a price on a package of 3 for cash. I have a feeling that if we walked in with 2700 dollars, we'd walk out with 3 speeds. Lets hope so.
