Anybody have any idea if WDP is going to be there and upgrading the MEM boards on the IR3 at this event?
Normally if WDP is at an event, they have a full stock of products including replacement boards etc. for the guns.

I'm pretty sure they are going to be there. Dynasty and Avalanche will be there.

www.forceofnature.com has the first photos I've seen of this venue yet. It looks so super sweet, but the playing fields are actually on the beach. I see a lot of slow break outs this weekend, and a lot of people compaining of sand in shoes, and in their markers. The fields look really nice, and people that are just walking/driving by are going to be able to see this. The pics look really sweet.

reading some more information on the event it also appears that they are really going to crack down on players playing the grey area of the rules as far as jersies, and goggles systems......and they've supposedly got someone who's sole purpose at the event is to find players with too much trigger bounce and REMOVE them from the tournament......now there's your warning all you who try to get your trigger bounce.....

yeah thats true and they are also craking down on the language also. If they even hear a swear word they pull you and a team mate. They also chrono more often on the field, saw a team lose their last guy for that reason.

is it just me or does anyone find it ironic that the NPPL said no alcohol except in the VIP tent, but there were Bud Light banners all over the place????????

oh I agree that a Sponsors banner should be prominantly displayed.....just seemed kinda weird that they went out of their way to make special rules regarding alcohol, with a beer company as a major sponsor....although I guess this would be there way of attempting to be responsible and saying noone underage will consume since you most likely had to show ID to purchase it in said area.......
Might it have been a city ordinance? No booze on the beach. They may have petitioned for a special permit to serve in the VIP tent.
I don’t know. I’m just guessing.

Emmit,
the hoops that the NPPL had to go through were crazy. HB is an old school political town with a lot of old people on the city council.
I was amazed enough when chuck took me to the beach in Nov and said hey if we get the permits do you think the players would want an event a HB. I about fell over when I thought of all the events I went to there when I was a kid.
But about the Booze it was a pain in the ass and then at the eleventh hour the insurance was a pain, in the end however
they spent the money and made it happen. The idea was not
to get the players drunk, it was to have it as a convience for the
potential outside sponsors. My guys wanted so bad to get in there but we were not even allowed.

Rodney.....I understand completely. There are a lot of beaches and stuff where alcohol isn't aloud, but they hold events sponsored by beer companies (look at the AVP). Just thought it was funny I guess....

Emmit,
fare enough. I think that the sponsors must have a division that handles that kind of thing. I don't know exactly. I imagine that it will be easier next year.
