Back off the wheels. If you are new to Angels how do you know it is the trigger? Is the marker live?

Check the manual, there are alot of reasons. You can't really mess things up either with the trigger, and anything adjustable might be the problem.

The marker is live and wont fire. I have kept all factory settings and havent done anything to the gun except mess with the wheels and the toe adjuster.

back the toe screw all the way out (but not out of the trigger) and set your vernier wheels at their deepest points. you should have a very long trigger pull, and then you can adjust your toe screw so it will fire.

Here....

1-Turn your ANGEL on
2-put your ANGEl on "live"
3-put your ear up to the solenoid (back end of gun).
4-pull the trigger

do you hear a faint "erg" sound?

or...

1-turn you ANGEL on
2-after booting, pull the trigger on SAFE mode.
3-hold the trigger down.

does the LCD screen's backlight come on?

If neither of those work for you, heres what you do.

TO FIX:

1-turn your ANGEL ON
2-move front wheel trigger adjuster clockwise, if looking at the gun from top-down, until the trigger stops moving.
3-turn BACK wheel adjuster clockwise, for say 4-5 clicks.

If the problem isnt anything of consequence, the gun should fire after doing the preceding steps. The gun's trigger setup will suck, but beggars cant be choosers in this situation.

If you didnt already know, the back wheel adjusts how far back the trigger will move. The front adjuster is for how long the return stroke is...meaning how far foward it goes. If my steps fixed the problem, the stroke wasnt allowing the trigger to accually hit the accuator...a common problem out-of-the-box.

Angel Boi i tried all the steps about turning the wheels the way you said before and when i read your post i tried them again. Still wouldn't fire. I would hear the "erg" sound before when i had the gun on and on live and pulled the trigger, even when i started playin around with the wheels and it still worked.. but when i tried to adjust the toe adjuster behind the trig. thats when nothin happened.

how far is it out of the trigger? b/c it either could not be reaching the activation point or already past it

AAAAALLLRIGHT.......

Move the wheels AAAALLLLL they way clockwise, so that the trigger is at its longest pull possible.

That HAS to fix it. If it doesnt, the leaf spring may be offset.

Adjust the trigger screw, your gun is not activating. Play with the wheels as well. Play with the trigger until you find a point of activation u like. Use light grade lock tight to set the screw once you find the trigger point u want. Vibration will cause it to move.

Yes, anyway,

You see epoh, the problem that i think is occuring is the trigger is never reaching the acctuator. The Solenoid wont "erg" unless the leaf spring touches the acctuator. When you adjusted the toe screw, you moved the actuator farther away than you had to, and thus its messing up your trigger pull.

Please adjust your toe screw back to where it was stock and see if it works then. If it doesnt, then its time to take off the grip cover. :nervous:

Ok i turned both wheels all the way clockwise and it still doesnt do the trick. When adjusting the toe adjuster should i have the gun on safe and then adjust alittle and hold the trigger down and see if the LCD lights? if not then adjust alittle more and then repeat? until it works, will that do it?

So wat do i do if i dont know where the toe adjuster was when it came stock? By the way i have the grip cheek open.

ok. with the trigger depressed all the way and the toe screw backed into the trigger all the way, the gun should not activate. if it does, well, then you've found the activation point. if it doesn't, hold down the trigger and slowly turn the toe screw in until it activates. I would have it in live mode when you do this, but put it in safe if you cant hear the solenoid click.

Thank you so much tman-89 took awhile but it worked!!! Well i have to say i am really happy that i got the solenoid to make that clicking noise but i am not happy with the trigger pull. I adjusted the wheels as much as i can to make it better, but if i adjust them the way i like it it wont fire. If anyone can tell me how to make it a lighter pull i'd be happy but if not im ok with at least it being able to fire it now. Thanks again!

no prob. When you adjust the wheels, you should adjust the toe screw as well to match up with it. for ex. when you decrease the forward movement, screw the toe screw into the trigger. that way, you still have the firing point. try the rubber band mod here (http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?t=23095). it worked wonders for me. ;)

I used a dental Rubber Band :clown:

i didnt want the rubber band to be rubbing against the electronics, so its not as light as it could be...
