You can use the 45/45 PE.

You don't have to use ne certain type of tank or make, It just must be a low pressure Input pressure. Like Crossfire LP input tanks or adj. tanks that can input 400 PSI consistantly

OK my friend is probably going to pick one of these up. Right now he has a 68/4500 PMI tank, but it is high pressure output. Can he use this tank since its a high pressure output, or does he need a tank with a low pressure output. Thanks.

Pure energy doesn't make LP tanks from wut i know
it doesn't matter wut type of air system u use, as long as it's a low pressure output. High pressure output is bad for the mini-reg

So I cant use my tank that i have right now or can i make an adjustment to the tank or have it reset or something? Or do i have to buy a new LP tank?

You can have the tank's regulator altered, or you can have someone do the "HP mini-reg mod" to your gun. The latter is by far the most simple.
You might, however, want to get rid of that tank in favor of an LP-output one, if only because the Pure Energy reg is a terrible reg.

IwanaANGEL, how much are the 68/45 LP tanks, and where do you find em? I can only seem to find HP tanks for CrossFire...

crossfire tanks are the ONLY air system that can keep up with the `05 speed...Fly...A4 because of it`s unmatched recharge rate.
Other tanks work but you will experiance shoot down from slower recharge rates.

Dude, get the 70/45. You'll save a small fortune on drops alone.

even if you have a HP tank, just buy a reg for it, its 20 bucks, and tis alot cheaper than a new tank, just to get a LP output.

So will my dye 71/45 throttle work with the gun?? I thought mine was a HP tank but i am not really sure.

All tanks will work on the gun, but for some (those that output > 600 psi), you'll need to modify the mini-reg to accomodate them.
You'll get better performance, and approximately 10% more shots per fill, out of an LP-output tank running on the stock minireg versus an HP-output tank running on a mod'd minireg.

Contact Crossfire (http://www.crossfireinc.com/contact_us.asp); they'll do a reg swap for $45, plus the cost of shipping it back to you (about $9). Doing the reg swap will also give you a brand-new warranty (~16 months?). You send them the whole tank & reg ass'y, so you don't have to worry about taking the reg off and it exploding in your face or something. Just remember to drain the tank before shipping to save yourself some weight and to make it safer.
