Ok, ive been switching between angels for 5 months now, and that 05 really has me interested but..... waht do u think:

Here are the 2 possible deals:

Angel 4 + Preset 68/45 Angel AIR ($220) for $950 brand new off paintballgateway.com.....

OR

Angel speed 05 by itself for $995 off the websites I found here?

I have $1300 to spend total (roughly) and I need a 68/45 LP tank + a Halo B...

What do you guys think?

That's what I'm thinking, I realy want the eye and new trigger... the only problem is

At some point later I need to pull a blue C4 Dye jersey out of my ass, as well as either 04 hybrid or angel pant... and either a dye invision or proto

those 3 things are another what... $180? ($55 for jersey, $75 for pant, $70 mask, I cant add...) something like $190...

plus the tank.. $220, and halo b... $105.

Also do I need a bottomline and ASA? How much do those go for? $50ish?

I'm looking at $1500 for my new crap... I can get all of that but the A4 instead for $1280... ($1300 is my cap for now, meaning I could get all of it at once)

If I go with the speed I may have to play a tourny with no jersey, anda crappy nVader mask.

What should I do?

Save some more cash for the speed. I think it will be very very worth it. That is what I am doing. I just need 150 more bucks!

Hell if it was my choice I'd blow all my money on paintball.

My parents are capping me at $1300 for new equipment, so it'd be like a month or 2 before I could convince them to let me get a jersey/mask/pant

I dunno, according to the email i got from paintballgateway, that deal will be gone soon... so If it is... deciding will be easy, since no other site has a deal like that for A4s.

But if the deal is still there I might have to go A4 jsut because its way more practical (how stupid would I look at a tourny being the only kid on our 5man team without a jersey, and a nVader mask lol)

pretty good deal, but yeah I think I'll be going for the 05... It just seems like way better of a gun and worth the sacrafices lol.

If I were You I would get the a4 I think. I have a 4, I love it. THen you can get all your gear too right now. Then in 3- 4 months get the a4 retro'ed, and BAM you got yer eyes. eh? :D Then sensi works fine. I plan on getting mine retroed asap, but not till I get some other stuff first, like a new mask, and teamjeresys, and so forth.

I'd grab a used A4, if you're going to get an A4. You'll save a couple hundred bucks that way, and once decide if the Speed 05's right for you, you aren't losing a bunch of cash when you sell the A4 and grab the Speed 05.

there are a few more vidoes where I got this one, someone posted a link in one of the other thread in this section. This is the only vidoe worth watching IMO. This is the only really informational one.

Its pretty much says that the 05 is basically a fly with a new trigger system, and a new reg, that is not removable, and pulled a touch forward so you can get your whole hand around it.

No such thing as a stupid Q man, we all check these forums cause we like to answer what Q's we can, and get answers for the ones we dont know. :D So fire em at us.

To have your gun retro'ed means You will have to send the gun out to a sponsor (like www.performanceangel.com , or any of the other ones) and have the brand new Eye Q system installed. I think that Ken (he is the owner of performanceangel) is giving right around 2 week turn around time (dont quote me on that, I have no facts from him saying that, I have just read post's from others who have gotten theres in about that time frame) This is a very indepth process, they have to strip the gun down just the body, and mill (drill holes) it to fit the eyes, and route the wires, and such (I dont know 100% exactly what they do, as I havnt had mine done, and havnt really done that much research on it), then they replace your old A4 board with a Brand new Fly board, update the software to the latest, and greatest, put the marker back together, make sure it shoots like it should, and send it back to you.

Then you get it, and once your erection goes away you are good to go out, and rip that thing at amazing speeds.

Ah, sorry, I'm used to automatically slapping a Rip drive on there.

See if your field (or one of the MT's) will sponsor you a bit, especially when you're buying all that stuff at once. They might throw in a free jersey, for example.

They already are throwing in a little bit extra--their great warranties.

The only reason I suggested anything to TrashDoG was because he was buying so much at once, and so many separate things that he might otherwise go around and individually shop for. Don't start expecting the MT's to throw in free stuff every time you order something from them; they'd get mad at me if I gave people that impression.

That said, it never hurts to ask for a set of stickers or a nice poster or two....

Btw: about that trigger, will they offer magnet replacements because after a while they will get weak and it might get kind of sloppy.

Just explain the situation, completely and honestly. Tell them what you need, your budget, and what prices you've found elsewhere, and ask if they can cut you a deal on the entire package in return for you putting their logo on your jersey/hopper/whatever.

As I said, there's absolutely no guarantee, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Perhaps my physics knowledge has gone the way of the dodo, but don't magnets take something on the order of a decade to degrade?

You can get ur a4 retro'd. Its 300 bucks, and they replace your board, and put angel eyes in. and it wioll be just as fast as the new 05. just a little heavier with different milling. honestly, what the hell is milling gonna do for you? besides tickle your fancy.
