Hey everyboday,
Just wondering if the new Force Speed has the Master Tech warranty? I'm confused as to what "Master Tech Set-Up and Support" means...
Thanks.

Double check with Trevor @ Badlands, I'm under the impression from a post that Ken made the Force Fly LED for $1,200 does not carry the warranty. Rather the MT just sets up the marker.

Like I said double check...

Yeah, this is confusing me, I've checked with Robert at Fixmyangel.com and then Mark at Impact and they said different things (Six month standard warranty then Mark said the Master Tech warranty was on it..)
Can anyone verify this for sure?

Sorry Kanga... I'm not in a position to respond for any MT. However I'm sure of them will see this thread and be able to assist you.

How can a person void their warranty with there gun? REplacing a trigger won't right?

no, replacing the trigger wont void your warranty as long as you dont modify the board or do any other serious modifying

http://angelforce.tv/warranty.html

It doesn't specifically address it, but I cannot imagine that replacing a trigger would void your warranty. The specific language involved is, "[1.c:] Markers with aftermarket parts that affect the operation of the marker including, but not limited to, bolts, hammers, Gabriel boards, Bonebrake upgrades, etc. will not be covered with this program." Also, note that if you do somehow mess something else up while installing the new trigger, "[1.d:] Warranty does not cover labor necessary to repair damage done to the marker by people trying to repair or upgrade the marker themselves."

All that said, Ken has specifically said (http://www.angel-owners.com/showpost.php?p=261919&postcount=19) that installing a new trigger doesn't void your warranty.

I've got another question,
Should I pre-order the gun or should I wait? Because my parents are leery about putting their money in someones' bank account till it comes. Hmm.
Thanks.

Are you looking for a force speed or a force fly? because impact has 5 force flys left. 1 black, 2 gunmetal, 2 green/yellow. so if your looking for a force and can swing the $, call them up cause they have em.

They will give you the same warranty as a FFly or any other Force Marker...

I'm looking for a Force Speed, for sure. Force Fly is a little above what I was willing to spend and I'd rather buy Canadian too (much easier in several ways).

Does anyone think there'll be any left after pre-orders?

The MT's aren't going to screw you over. I'd rather buy from them than a private seller.

By law, they can't charge your card until they've shipped a product. They might put a hold on the money, but I doubt it. And if they do something terrible, you have three great recourses--contact your credit card company, contact WDP, and let AOG know.

But, beyond all of that, the MT's are stand-up guys; I assure you, your trust is safe with them.

a merchant can and does charge cards in full before a product and service has been shipped or provided and its a commonly used practice when doing pre orders.it depends on the arraingment that is made during the discussion of the sale.if i do a pre order guns are paid in full.

Nah, that was just sarcasm. What parts are likely to go on the Force Speed? Watch should I keep spares of? And is there an A4 Bolt in it already?

THank ya

if its a force speed.. shouldnt it have the same body lenght and all that too? taking away LCD doesnt make it a speed...

kangaroodent

It does. A better description of it would be to call it a Force Fly with a Euro Speed board. Angel 4 parts, Force body, Angel 4 frame, Euro Speed board.

Honestly, the warranty is minimal. Unless you're accident prone and live reasonable close to a MT. Yes it's a nice bonus to have and in theory could be worth its weight in gold for the long haul but the average user won't hold onto their marker long enough to take full advantage of the warranty.

actualy the warranty is one of the most important selling points that has been expressed by customers buying a force.and its ironic but most force owners still are the 1st owners of their guns as we keep track of as many as we can.as well for 75.00 the warranty can be reissued in a second owners name.and we have done 5 or 6 of them as well.just my 2 cents.

Ken, I was referring to the decision in buying a Force Fly LED. For some owners (potential) they don't want a warranty. I've had several customers ask me if I could get them a Force Fly but were immediately turned off by the price when I told them how much it costs over a normal Fly. When I informed these customers that they could still get a Force body with near identical features for $200 less than a Fly they were eager to buy.

Now I'm not suggested that people don't want a warranty but for some people they'd rather save $50, $100, $200, etc. on a marker go without a warranty and take their chances in the long run. Thus this setup is the perfect situation for them.

I'm not positive on the other sponsors but I know Impact has a lifetime warrenty on all their guns. So call the nearest MT and see what he offers. Good Luck.

Whats the dif in performance from the MT Speed and the 05 Speed?

I know they changed the trigger and new grip and new reg but anything that makes the Force or 05 stand apart from eachother?

i dunno and its a damn good question. either way they are both killer guns

The MT Speed is a Force Fly, but without the LCD board and Full Force Valve. So the differences between an 05 and a Force Speed are the same as those between a Force Fly and an 05 Speed, except for those two parts.

Rgr, thanks Jouster.

So I am looking for my first angel, and I KNOW I am buying an Angel! What model should I get, because the Force 4 Fly's are sweet, but of course the Force Speed seems pretty sweet 2 and of course this new gun is fast as hell too! I like the idea of the warrenty because I can't afford to get a new gun every time one comes out ya know ;) thats why I like the MT guns, and I like the idea that it was put together with the hands of a MT

If you're gonna get a Force Speed... Get one now. There's probably only 10 left by now. You can only buy them from the sponsors at the top of this page.
