I've studied both systems pretty carefully and I'm pretty confident in my choice. They each seem to have some advantages the other doesn't have, the predator is just better for me because of what I prefer. I don't know if you can say one is "better" when they both have the same result, namely letting the gun fire as fast as possible with no chops.
But one, keep nice LCD Board and use milling, and the other, glue...

No, you have a choice with the predator now. Either the glue or eclipse eye covers. Regardless, I'm sure this has been discussed many times in other threads, I don't want to hijack this one. Thanks for the answer Ken. Out of curiosity, why won't they fit? Did they move the hole location?
"Considering you get your old board and battery back it ends up being cheaper in the end too."
It does not end up being cheaper, it just off sets your cost on purchashing batteries for the first 6-12 months.

no they are not
does this mean that the .45 frame for the 05 speed will not fit the a4, and if that is the case, then will the master tech .45 frame not fit the a4(fly) either?
if neither of the frames fit im gunna go get a dm4 this week

Disclaimer: I am not a Master Tech, and all I know about the 45* frame is what I've heard from Russ and other MT's.
Call Russ and explain the situation; he'll let you know exactly what's up with the 45* frames, and, knowing him, will probably have some super-cool way to get an older 45* frame onto an A4/Fly if the MT one isn't ready. Russ has m4d sk33lz like that.
Oh, and you can call him now--remember, he's six hours behind the East coast (http://time.gov/timezone.cgi?Hawaii-Aleutian/s/-10).

no they will not fit pred? why noy fly it much better system
Tried it today, the 05 grips do indeed fit the fly/a4/old
speed, minus the display window of course.
after a couple of weeks I stopped looking at the screen anyway.
I'm gonna call wdp and tell them my dog ate the originals, so I can get a set for my fly, lol

i think ken was refering to the frame though, not the grips, not 100% sure tho
i dont like the new grips (although havent tried them, i tend to not like the grips without the wrap around design)

Ah, I think you're right. Excellent! Although as Jackal said, I really don't even look at the lcd anyway unless I'm changing settings. Live and safe can be judged by looking at the light on the back of the grip. So, any chance they'll release the grip cheeks as a seperate item?

i dont even worry about live and safe, i just turn it off or on... my lcd is half broken (sun damage or something) and so i cant read it, i do turn the timer on howerer when i play in tournaments.

I simply go between live and safe so I don't have to worry about recalibrating the sensi every time I go out. If I had eyes then you're right, I wouldn't even do that.

Hmmm...why not just take a razor blade and razor out a hole for the LCD?...it would be easy just use the screen lens(the thingy on your Grip cheak now) as a stencil...and just cut it off?...were would you go about ordering these bad boys?

it's not that easy... there are slots inside the rubber grip that holds the cover... but i suppose a bit of super glue never hurt anybody.

Super glue is for wimps. Pick up some dual-element epoxy.
