hey, I adjusted my trigger, (I moved the pivot pin back a hole and shortened my return stroke alot) and now when I turn the gun on it flashes safe for a half a second and then it keeps saying semi and the serial number, so I read the manual and it said I needed to back out the return-stroke set screw so I did that and it happened again so I backed it out a good bit more and it's still doing it. Why is this? Do I need to adjust my over-travel or is it something else? Please help, thanx, peace.

You probably need to back it out more. Moving the pin back will in effect shorten your return as well so you have probably well over done it. You can actually adjust this while the marker is turned on (if you are carefull) until the display reads "safe" again.

ok, cool, thanx, I fixed that problem, but now I have another question, with the return-stroke I just turned the gun on with the wires plugged in but the grip frame off the gun and I adjusted it until I didn't hear the click anymore and then I just backed it out until I heard the click again and then stopped, is this a good way to adjust the return-stroke or not? Can I make it shorter doing it another way? And also, with just the return-stroke adjusted the trigger pull is still kind of long (longer than I'd like it to be) but I can just adjust the rest of it to make it really short with just the over-travel, right? And lastly, now that I've moved the pivot pin back a hole (from the middle hole to the back hole) when I adjust the return-stroke really long or all the way out it is kind of a rough pull and I think it is snagging the pivot pin for a second until I pull it by the pin (that's where the pull gets rough) is this normal once you move the pin back and make the return-stroke really long, or no? I won't have my return-stroke long at all (and it doesn't happen with the way I have my return-stroke adjusted now) so I don't think it matters much, but I just thought I'd ask to make sure, thanx alot for all the help, peace.

I would think adjusting it that way is probably the best way. I have the lcd backlight turned off so when I pull the trigger it turns on, I adjust the return until the light stays on then back it off and test that it comes on and turns off with every pull and release of the trigger.
Adjusting the over travel will shorten it up now, but you should probably do that first as it is the harder one to set, it requires you to screw the grip frame back on the gun to test the pull. again if it doesnt fire it has been adjusted too far.
I think you will find the roughness is from the trigger rubbing against the leaf spring that is on the circuit board and not the pivot pin. you could try putting a small amount of oil on the pivot pin to help it though.

ok, cool, thanx, but, with adjusting the over-travel can't I just leave the return-travel adjusted the way I have it now and then just put the trigger frame back on the gun and adjust the over-travel with the trigger frame on the gun (without taking it off the gun everytime I need to adjust it) or do I need to take it off, thanx alot, peace.

nevermind, I think I got the trigger working, I adjusted it really short and when I turn the gun on it says safe and then I turn on live and it goes to live (instead of the whole semi serial number thing) and then I pull the trigger and it clicks, that means it works, right? It's only supposed to click once though, right? Like, when I pull the trigger back it clicks but when I release the trigger it doesn't click, but it's not supposed to, right? I mean the trigger will work, right? Because I can't test it with air for a little while because I don't have any air to test it with. Also, does the trigger spring have to be in or could you leave it out (the spring that goes over the return-travel set screw and sticks out over the top), I put mine back it but I was just wondering, thanx alot, peace.
It sounds like you have the trigger set up right. It should ONLY click once on the pull. It should NOTclick at all on the return. Also, even though the maual says don't remove the trigger spring, you can. The opto-leaf should give enough force to reset the trigger.
