I need help, I was messing with my shims in the lpr now I chop paint like crazy I never had problem before. Can anyone tell me how many shims are init from factory?

I believe there is 4. I could be wrong. If u have the LPR tool, measure the pressure and see where ur at. 82psi is said to be the stock pressure. Also try adjustin ur hole gun to a certian setup. (Dwell, Lpr, etc) Hope this helped

There is no set number, it will vary from marker to marker. Try adjusting the LPR to 50psi and the LPR to 17ms and see what happens. Or you can do 82/11 and see how that works. They key is to get the pressure reading, it may take 3 or it may take 13 shims.

As Sparco said, it will vary from marker to marker; it might take anywhere from zero shims to as many as twenty in order to get it at the factory pressure. Do not adjust your LPR pressure without a gauge.
