Just thought I'd ask the forum how many shots they get from the air system. I'm shooting 68/3000 Max Flo with 400 PSI, largest volumizer, dwell 11, OGP 225, and getting about 800 - 900 is that the norm or should be getting better. I'm thinking about getting a 68/4500 how many more shots should I get from that and is it worth it.

you get much more for you money with a 4500 than a 3000...

I already have a 3000 tank, so getting a 4500 is an additional cost. If the number of shots is much better with a 4500 then I would consider getting one but if it means a small improvement then its not worth it to me. Post what your gun is shooting and type of air system

You'd get 1,419 shots out of a 68/4500, if you changed nothing else, 519 or 57.6% more shots than the 68/3k. (Calculated using TankCalc on AngelFAQ.com.)

I keep meaning to put in a database of known configurations, and a good help file....
Anyway, the four boxes in each part are tank pressure (3000, 4500, or 5000 psi), tank size (45, 48, 68, 70, 88, 90, or 114 ci), output psi (400 psi in your case, generally either 420, 450, 800 or 850 psi), and number of shots.
You fill in the "base" half with what your marker (or your buddy's marker) is currently using. Then you fill in the "my" half with your new tank size, pressure, and output pressure, and hit Submit.

But how do you know what to put in the base shots if you are trying to figure out what you get?

Fill in "base settings" with your current tank and what you currently get out it, shot-wise. Fill in "my settings" with the tank you're considering.
