ok guys, i dunno if anyone else has done this...but i came up with this "mod" if u wanna call it that...i call it...the 10 cent mod... here is what u need...
1).a master tech trigger...
2).2 nickels
3).a saw
4). so much boredom itll make a librarian scream
this can go in any a4 forums with the trigger adjustment wheels... but anyways u kno how the plastic adjustment wheels make it so when u set the grub screws into the position u want... there is still some give when u pull the trigger fully? i personally didnt like this and was planning on gettin one of those magnet mod plates...but seein how they are pretty expensive for my wallet right now... i glued two nickels together and dropped it in while keepin the little metal wheel setter under the plastic wheel... then i sawed off a bit off the back screw for my trigger and made the proper adjustments and bingo... a nice solid feel when u pull the trigger and not having to be afraid of damaging the leafspring or opto components... now i kno this is prolly the saddest thing uve ever herd...but it works... lol, i kno im gonna get so ridiculed by this... but hey... itll prolly amuse me past the point of boredom i am currently experiencing...lol

So, just to check--you replaced the rear vernier wheel with two nickels stacked atop one another? i.e., the overtravel is no longer adjustable, except by removing the nickels or changing the length of the rear trigger pin?
Dude, that's pretty ballsy. Neat. Not something I'd ever do, since I love adjusting the wheels independently, but neat.

since it's a Master Tech trigger, it's a set screw not pins like on the stock or Slayer triggers, making the rear travel still adjustable from the inside of the grip frame.

Ah, good call. I didn't/couldn't read through thirteen lines of .sig to find that.
Neat!

Didn't you recently write this one...
Guys, you can turn off the display of signatures if they bother you so much.

Yep. But that was in response to JTp8ntballer12, who said, "none at all might be good.... anything important can go by your avatar". I do want .sigs, but I still support shorter .sigs.

Geez, you want me to read the post as well? Asking a bit much, aren'tcha? :pissed:

Looks nice, too! Those nickels are a perfect fit. Does GB have a coin the same size as a nickel?

i as well noticed that there was alot of unwanted travel in the trigger adjustment wheels while pulling the trigger!! after a bit of trial and error (orings & washers) making the trigger to tight and the wheels unadjustable .... i finally put a layer of duct tape on both sides of the wheels and then cut the tape with a razor to fit perfectly on the wheels without being seen!! then i adjusted the set screws where i wanted them and both wheels are still adjustable!! this elimanated all of the "SLOP" from the adjustment wheels and the trigger can have as little or as much forward and rearward travel as desired!!
