There are a couple of threads about the A4 and Halo problems. Just make sure that your detents are nice and tight, you might even want to stretch the springs a touch. Fresh batteries and a properly adjusted ram always help;)
I would try the Halo with the Sensi ON before you trade in for the Egg, and if you trade it in, make sure that it has the Z board in it.

What I find to be problematic is that a reloader B or halo B can push the ball into the sensi rod. It dimples the ball, and for me, it seems to be breaking them on occation. My friend has an A4, filed down his sensi rod, and it works perfectly.

It does hurt the sensi, but if you sand it down, it works great

No, it doesn't hurt the Sensi.
Sand down the rod if you want; it's up to you.

then can you tell me why my friends have replaced the sensor so many times?

This is a smart thing to do if the sensi rod is unusually long. The rod should not extend more than 0,7mm-1mm over the hole in the breech. This reduces the strain on the sensi board.
This is what I've experienced.
Have a nice one:smile:
