hey,
i have a problem with my angel air. the problem is that it isn't putting out any pressure nor air at all. the lcd screeen reads "lo-p" and so i try to turn the pressure adjusting screw in, and it isnt going in, its just staying in the same spot and turning. i can take the screw out but once its flush with the reg it wont go any further. can anyone help me or give me info on what i need to do? im new to angel air and got this tank used on PBN, its in very good shape but i didnt get a manual or anything so i have no clue what to do.

itd be a great help,
brandon

oh and if it helps any, nothing else is spinning when i try to turn the screw in. just the screw, it stops when its flush and wont get any tighter but i can still turn it.

I recently had the same problem, However i have my own fill station at my house, so i did a few test trials and i found that when the pressure in the tank goes below a certain PSI the tank will only read LO-P. So fill your tank to the maximuim 4500 PSI and see what i tells you. The following website may help you with your problem. It gives a complete detailed outline on the Angel A.I.R. system. http://www.warpig.com/paintball/technical/regulators/air/index.shtml

k ill give that a try. when i screw the output screw in should it be going in or will it only go till it flush?

you cannot adjust the pressure on the output unless you have air in the tank, doesn't matter where you put the adjustment screw, without air you're not going to change anything.

Assuming you actually have some air in your tank this might be your problem...I'm not sure what it is called, but there is a retaining disk that the grub screw is threaded into under the cap and that may have come loose so that when you are tightening the screw it is actually turning the grub screw and this retaining plate and not threading the grub screw so that it makes contact with the piston. Check and see if this is the problem and if so take the front cap off and clean the grub screw, retaining plate, spring stack and piston. Put them back in the proper order and see if you still have the problem, if so you may want to try and take the retaining plate out of the end cap again and try and glue it in there with some super glue or something. Don't get any on the grub screw or the threads where the grub screw goes, just on the top of the retaining plate that meets up with the end cap and push it securely in place. Let it sit for a while and try it again. If this doesn't work then I don't really know what else to suggest other than to take it to an MT and have them sort it out.

k guys,
thanks for the help so far. i had the tank filled before i tryed to adjust it last time but its showing that no air is in it now so im assuming that it drained out or sumthing of that matter. ill get it filled again and see what happens.

thanks,
brandon

if the gauge is showing no pressure what so ever in the tank you either lost it all, or your reg is not calibrated properly.

its showing as Lo-P or whatever on both the tank output and the tank pressure.

that would normally be an indicator that you have no air in the tank.

Emmit is right! Normally the LO-P is an indicator that shows that the tank either has no air or the tank or the tank is below 100 PSI. If either of those two indicators are your problem, simply fill it up to the maximum PSI and your good to go. If not let me know what the problem is in full detail and I will try to help with what I can.
